I tried reading the book and all I can say, the book was one of the worst books I have ever tried to read. I thinmk Book publishers are desperate to find another Harry potter series. After reading a book of this calibur, I believe everyone should have something published.

Twilight isn't my cup of tea, Moonlight on the other hand which was on CBS last year had amazing potential before the fools at CBS pull the plug on it. Id love to see that get put on Blu although I doubt it will ever happen

At first I was pissed. It seemed too much like Angel. Then I watched it and couldn't help but like it.

It was, yes. I love Forever Knight but I was hook right away on Moonlight but all during the season I had this feeling it was going to be cancel. I am afraid of watching things on TV now, they cancel all the shows I get into.

For Twillight, I might eventualy see it on The Movie Network, sometime next year. For what I seen on the author website, these books were not written for a 40 year old male it's possible I might enjoy them or the movie but I am not willing to dish out $10 to go see it. Now Bolt that is another story

It's become fairly obvious who the teenagers are around here. "Teams"? Sounds like people are watching too much E! channel for the next Lindsay Lohan scoop. You people don't need to go into a panic because someone doesn't want to see a movie that looks horrible to them.

Um...just because we are teenagers does not mean we don't need to defend when someone is wrongfully bashing something they know nothing about.

You say that like we've been trying to hide it .

Sometimes teen stuff is great. I love the music of Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato. Than there is things like Twilight where I don't support it but it's not entirely bad.

Although I would agree it could have been written by a teenage girl. (someone said this earlier)

I really don't get why so many people do like the twilight books. I wish someone could explain it to me.

The weird sparkling no fangs vampire stuff isn't even what bothers me cause thats not what it's really about. I think thats just supposed to a metaphor for weird teenage stuff. It really is just a love story.

The part that bothers me is that Edward and Bella just seemed to be so obsessed with each other. It seems like they have no life at all and only want to be together and to me an obsession like that is not true love.

I haven't seen the movie yet and I still kind of want to. I've liked a few of Catherine Hardwicke's films like Thirteen and Lords of Dogtown. Im really kind of curious what she did with this story, so I'll probably pick it up on blu-ray.

I don't get it guys....are you all really surprised you didn't/won't like the movie? Unless you're a teenage girl you're not going to care for this story too much. Calling this a vampire movie is an incorrect assumption, it's a teenage romance that just has to do with vampires.

I was forced to go see it with my girlfriend who's read all the books. Expecting the worst, I was pleasantly surprised. Not saying it's a good movie, but I didn't think it was terrible. As mentioned, the best scene in the movie is the baseball. And the main chick's friend was really hot.

All in all, I wouldn't recommend this movie to any guys. It is a teenage love story with an interesting and modern interpretation of vampires. And in case anyone is wondering, the father vampire is Mike Dexter from Can't Hardly Wait!

Kind of sounds like Romeo and Juliet doesn't it? And that's considered a classic

Hummm, well Twillight as vampires who have no fangs and walk in sunshine. So will the werewolf have no hair or maybe turn into cats?

I am just teasing.

Romeo and juliet both died at the end of the story, didn't they? haha

Twilight can't be considered a tragedy like that. And that was my point, in the Twilight book it seems like that kind of crazy obsession is a good thing. I feel like the story is telling us our lives are worthless unless we have this perfect boyfriend/girlfriend.

You are totally missing the point. It doesn't LOOK good, so I'm not going to waste my time, and the reviews haven't been even close to good enough to change my mind. The point of the trailer is to get people interested, and the trailer looks like a WB (CW for you youngins) made for tv movie.
