I don't mind wires, it makes the wife crazy though. I try to keep it as tidy as possible for her sake really.

I have the benefit of carpet, mine would be a mess if I had hardwoods like you. I have drilled a few holes in my flooring for running wires through the basement, it would be a tougher thing for me to get away with if I had hardwoods!!

I did the same thing but just to get the cable from my roof antenna up into my room. I would have to poke many holes into the walls and floor to get ride of my wires!

Tried it, it seemed to narrow my soundstage. I might give it another shot though...

I have considered repositioning them, that would screw with the wife's flow though. I am pretty happy with my rear soundstage as it is, so it isn't a huge factor for me...

Man...

I wish I could jump on that 6th Ave. Pioneer 5020 deal. With the economy in the crapper and having to 2 children, it makes it a hard purchase at this time. I just hope Panasonic is offering something similar this time next year....

Joking! I could probably talk her into it, but I feel like the money could be better spent in other places as well right now. Hopefully next year will be a little different...

Lucky duck! Now I just need to figure out a way to get my 4 and 5 year olds in accelerated classes to get them through the process faster...
