I have casino on dvd and bluray. Just had to upgrade, no big woop. I'm not one to double dip but, I would for my personal favorites. I really wanted Natural born killers on bluray but I didn't because of the weak reviews and the fact that it was the R rated version and not the directors cut.

None. Whenever I upgrade in format I give the old copies to friends or family. Hopefully I'll be able to give away my old Matrix and Spider-man dvd's after Christmas.

The 1st matrix:

VHS
DVD
HDDVD

and soon the 10th aniversary edition on Bluray cause I didnt feel like double-dipping the HD versions of reloaded and revolutions, when they released the trilogy on bluray.

The Wizard of Oz:

-a copy my aunt taped of TV

-the 1999 VHS release

-a few years later, the DVD version of the above.

-the 2005 DVD release

-and I have every intention of getting the Blu-Ray of it. If that makes me crazy, then call the mental hospital .

Other than that, I don't have mutiple versions of films except for Star Wars (VHS, DVD, eventual BR ). However, I know its only a matter of time (I asked for Planet of the Apes on BR for X-Mas.)

None. Once I get the "newer, better, visually enhanced" version, I get rid of the old one...I kick it to the curb. Ciao! Siyanara! Adios!!

For example. I had ID4 on VHS forever. When that was eventually released on DVD I threw it in the trash.

I don't always throw things away, sometimes I just get rid of them. For example, I tried to "trade" my copy of Boondock Saints Director's Cut Steelbook (Since it is coming out on Blu), but one of the discs had a tiny scratch and the salesperson wouldn't take it. So I will be giving that to my brother.
