first one is probably my favorite movie of all time, or at least in the top 3. only movie i've seen multiple times in the theater. i also loved the second one. i hated the third one the first time i saw it, but it grew on me. now i just think of it as a campy action film. it doesn't fit in at all with the other 2, but still entertaining. except for the part where he talked to the raptors with that stupid bone. that's when i have to stop myself from throwing the remote at the tv....
i'm not so sure how i would feel about a 4th one. movies these days can't seem to think of anything that original, so they're either remaking stuff that should be left alone or making bad sequels.

I'm hoping we get JP4 as well, a sequel to properly end the series on a high note with as much of the original cast re-united as possible.

I know I got excited we got some actual news but was disappointed. Now that Captain America is pretty much done I hope we start getting some JP4 news.

Im got excited when I saw the thread bump too...

But Johnson is keen on doing another, so I expect we'll start hearing news once Captain America starts to roll out on it's publicity campaign. At least I hope we do.

Yeah last I read was we would get news after Captain America is done and he really wants to do it after Captain so fingers cross something happens soon.

The original JP was awesome. The second was (IMHO) the worst sequel of all-time. The third was "okay" up until the moronic ending...

Sam Neill Talks Jurassic Park 4

Now, true this is just the perspective of one actor, but man, this one stings. At the very least we're pretty sure that if Neill were given a script for the sequel, he'd at least read it unlike some other celebs out there.

That really sucks as I was looking forward to a 4th entry

As much as I want to see one, maybe it's better left how it is.

Although I do remember Joe Johnson saying that the series would go in a new direction, which could mean getting rid of the older characters. They've told that story, so now it's time to tell a new one? Who knows.

I'd like to see them really overrun a facility

, in JP1 everyone left because of the storm, I want droves of people eaten.

Yeah they could still be trying to go in a new direction and depending on what that was/is would determine if I really want a 4th one. Still think it would be cool to get another JP film though but only if they could do it right.

I think Sam Neill saw the debacle that was the 4th Indiana Jones film and said NO WAY!!

I love the idea of the 4th script John Sayles worked on, which involved the US Gov't training raptors to use machine guns and sending them into South America to take on the drug cartels. It was just crazy enough to possibly work....

The fourth Jurassic Park movie should be about dinosaurs in space or the dinosaurs should get some weaponry attached to their bodies.

It was rumored to be the plot for the 4th movie but was quickly turned down from all the backlash it was getting.

Okay yeah so the series is over but if they really want a fourth movie without ruinign the story, do a movie about another group of individuals on another island like during the first movie or a revenge party for the guy's daughter that got killed in the second movie beginning.

You could do something like that.
