Title under username/Ranks

I don't mean to get off topic (again) so real quick question: What's the deal with the member titles? How do you get different titles, what's the significance? Just tell me if I should start a different thread too.

It's just a title which changes when you get more posts, the feature comes with vBulletin.

If you care, here's the breakdown (or at least what I came up with when I tried to figure it out awhile ago):

New Member - 1-3 posts
Junior Member - 4 - 19 posts
Member - 20 - 99 posts
Active Member - 100 - 199 posts
Senior Member - 200 - 399 posts
Power Member - 400 699 posts
Expert Member - 700 - 999 posts
Special Member - 1000 - 1999 posts
Blu-ray Guru - 2000 - 4999 posts
Blu-ray King - 5000 + posts

At least they can't watch their post count go up with each post any more. That really was a major improvement. This way, you can still tell roughly how active someone has been, without giving them a visible-on-every-page counter to watch go up with each worthless post.

Exactly, like if I look at someone who joined in mid 2007 and they're still not at a Blu-Ray King level yet, I'll be safe in assuming they have something worth while to say. Now if I look at somone that joined this year and they already have more posts than me... I obviously know what's going on there.

The upper-echelon titles are more than a little misleading in terms of Blu-ray knowledge (for the most part). I'd advocate a change in the way these titles are presented to users.

Hmmm...I think your order is right. And the post count looks about right
