Something similar happened to me. Still pretty addicted to Blu. Only time it really hits me is when I am forced to watch a DVD.

I think my spending is normal since I have only be a Blu-ray supporter for just under a year and I only have 49 BD's. However, I am on a complete hold from buying for the next few months as I have to save $$$ to make a down payment on a new car since my last car was just totaled out due to air bag deployment...

Well I currently have 104 blu-rays. I began purchasing blu-rays about two years ago and if you do the math I have bought at least one blu-ray every week for the last two years. So I guess I am slightly addicted.

I'm addicted to this site as well.

I started buying BR movies mid-June, so I'm averaging roughly 2-3 titles per week. I'd say that qualifies as very addicited.

I'm a newly addicted Blu-ray fan and my home theatre experience has evolved around my Blu-ray player....so yes, I can safely say that I'm addicted now.

Tomorrow is Boxing day here in Canada (our version of Black Friday in the U.S) and I plan on getting as many good deals as I can on Blu-ray discs. Kill Bill I & 2 and '300' are going on sale for $10 each, but I highly doubt I will be able to grab these deals, so I will have to settle with $14.99 deals at the least, I'm sure! Hope I don't get carried away tomorrow and end up spending my whole credit card, lol. Thank God it has a small limit, I can't spend anything more then $300

NO!

I've read where some people quit buying & watching SD DVDs & buy & watch ONLY BDs. I say why deprive yourself of films on SD DVD that are not on BD. Seems very silly to me.

I scour the net in search of deals all the time, I'm always in MovieStop looking for good deals on used Blu's, I even signed up to this site to get the scoop on whats coming out in the future. I have a shopping cart thats full on Amazon.com and Amazon.ca, as well as JR's.

I wouldnt say I'm addicted, but it's definitely a hobby of mine. I dont even watch the movies sometimes; I just like seeing those pretty blue cases stacked on top of each other.

Not really.
If I have the choice of DVD or Blu-ray... DUH! Blu baby!
I still root through the El Cheapo DVD bins when I see one - who doesn't?

Ok that is a little strange, why not watch the movies if you are buying them?
