I just turned blu on July 22, 2008. Although I only have capability on my laptop so far. Within the next two years I hope to be fully converted. Don't buy DVD anymore, except for the odd TV series that is MIA.

On January 20, 2008, I ordered the Panasonic DMP-BD30K and 15 Blu-ray movies. I decided to choose Blu-ray in the format war after Warner Brothers made their January 4th announcement that they were going Blu exclusively but I needed time to research which player to buy.

I actually bought 300 about before I got my PS3 becase the Blu Ray was about $3 more than the DVD.

January 25, 2008. Bought the 80gb PS3 with backwards compatibility, Call Of Duty 4, and the bluetooth remote at Target...then stopped at Best Buy on the way home and bought Pathfinder (the only movie in my collection that I wish I didn't have, but I will hold onto for ever for that reason).
