I'd rather have a nice house than a really nice car and I'd rather have a really nice car than a flippin' Air Plane... It's all nice if your entire family is in aviation but for people that aren't it's a little difficult to store and maintain an aircraft.

That's why you find a mechanic, that will to trade his skill for flight time. Just about every mechanic I met wants his pilot license. Storage will run you a pretty penny, but that's why you look into a T-Hanger, there not to bad. But I am with you on the house, I rather have a nice house then car. But I rather have a $10,000 car and an airplane.

Buyign a car though is a great way to boost your credit rating and will make it easier for you to buy a house. Sure you might not get the ideal % rate you want but if you go through a local or university credit union you can get a good deal. Then you will be setting yourself up to buy a nice house.

A friend/neighbor of mine bought an '04 S2000 in that Suzuka blue. It looked like new condition and drove perfect and he got a steal on it.

I'm gonna tell him to keep that baby immaculate, it will be a rarity! I've ridden in it once, it's fast and smooth, but it is a harsh sports car ride. Still though, it was more refined than the Porsche 924 I drove.

If I could afford it, I would buy one just as a collector's item. It would never be my daily driver.

Tell your friend to get the Spoon hardtop for it. Not only does it look better it stiffens the car.

My dream car though is a 98 2 door Subi RS with full STi swap. SLEEPER!!!!

I don't think it was ever intended to be a everyday car. But it easily could if wanted. I would drive it like I stole it.

My friend drives a 240Z with a SR20 that has ITB's as his daily driver. Any car can be driven any day!

lol, sorry to hear of your troubles with yours. So far mine is solid but I would expect so only being 2 years old.

I also wish mine were a bit quicker. 286 horsepower may seem like plenty but I'd like some more. Coming from a car with 360 hp and 400 tq this one seems slow.

The Type-S is DOHC with V-Tec right? They tend to love the upper revs more. My Fit has 2 stage iV-Tec and that doesn't kick in the first stage until 4k or so. I know my friends civic hatchback with a B16 loves revving to 9k.

My car seems zippy when it runs. I was playing with the new 6 Cylinder Challenger, he was always in my rearview. Even some Convertible Mustang GT's have been in my rearview for some time, unless we get on wide open roads...
