All I know is that the two websites have completely different operations from each other it appears. Wither chcanada.com you are only obligated to buy two blu-rays in one year.

No I believe it is the same operation - same people and warehouses - just a different set of terms for how it works.

Hi Lolo,

I ordered Kung Fu Panda and the good news is it showed up in a couple of days! Unfortunately, the disc DOES contain both English and French and is therefore different from the screenshot on your website. Any idea what could have happened?

Well apparently the new columbia house chcanada.com members get the orders within a week or 2 but old columbiahouse wich is columbiahouse.com members get the shaft and have to wait a month for there orders

see I when I did my order about 2 month ago I had it all planned only ordering 2 new releases every week but it never worked that way now they have shipped all of them at once and I got a big bill now to pay

Question for people who have ordered and got their titles, does the order status changes after the order has been dispatched.

My order was placed on 19/12/2008 and credit card also charged on the same day and I am yet to receive a single title. I do have Incredible Hulk in my order.

More than a week ago, I did a Live Chat with a CSR at chcanada.com. and she told me my order was shipped on the day I placed my order. Surely it does not take Canada Post more than three weeks to ship to Edmonton??????

Yeah I don't really believe that the delays are all Canada Post. Does Canada Post have an extra super slow shipping method that Columbia House pays for to ship their products out that is dirt cheap? Maybe they stay sitting in a CH warehouse waiting to be picked up for a few days or something?

Hey Cardman I would say that all tis has cost me pretty close to $2500 I could not tell cause there is alot there I got 2 for 50 or 2 for 40 about 50 of them were bought new though like at $32 bucks or higher for the box sets

Hey sschen, keep us posted on what's happening with your order, okay? I would like to make an order too, but I want to make sure others are getting their orders too. I live in Edmonton also by the way.

I don't mind waiting up to 2 weeks, but 3 weeks is ridiculous. Could be Christmas that made you wait longer then usual probably. Anyways, keep us posted!

does this new chcanada.com ship blurays faster than the old columbiahouse.ca? is it free shipping? casuse the columbiahouse.ca has really slow shipping - even slower than amazon.ca

Well amazon.ca ships by Expedited Parcel shipping so I don't see how anyone could be faster than that unless you are going to pay for full Express Post or courier.

If you get more then 2 items, you pay about $5.99 I think for as many movies as you like. Less then two movies and you pay $1.99 per item. Bulk orders is probably the best idea with these guys.

thanks for the reply judgementday. no i was checking out your collection and its rediculous. like every title i've seen in he stores (for rent and buy) you own. so i was just in awe so to speak. i myself only own 27 and got them at great deal prices, but still they've cost me a pretty penny, so i cant even inagine how much you've invested. $2500 is ALOT.

with regards to the orders, i too am curious to see how it works, some ppl seem to have no problem and others BIG DELAYS. i ordered hancock friday and am hoping to recieve it sometime this coming week. i'll keep you guys posted on how it goes, but i do not believe the delays are canada post problems. reg mail gets delievered in 2-5 business days (5 being the max) so for it to take more than 2 weeks is rediculous. i think when things are held up like this its because they are dt of stock on an item and wait to be replenished so they can fulfill your order. just my 2 cents anyhow.

I have 8 titles in my order and the website only charges me $5.99. Will keep you guys posted once I know what is going on with the order.
