Easy. You look around. You don't buy things at expensive places just bc they are there.

Closer than you think, but we may be able to avoid it.

Somehow.

If we're lucky.

1) wait until there's a deal/promo and/or use coupons (checking this forum frequently helps )
2) buy off amazon marketplace/ebay/trading forum

in following the above 2 options i have always managed to get blurays for $20 or less. just have to be a smart shopper and occasionally have some patience

O.K. So, I looked at Amazon.com and Walmart.com for prices. It seems that after about 1 month to 6 weeks prices start dropping on some titles, especially at Amazon.com. Eagle Eye is already down to 19.99. I found an additional 12 titles on my list for under $20 dollars, most of which were released before last december. Sukiaki Western Django, & War Inc. were 11.49, and Monster's Ball is 12.99. However, there were some holdouts, mostly animated movies, that were still over $25.00. Surf's up, Waterhorse, Bee Movie, were all over $25.00. Maybe I will try to reduce my threshold of pain to $20.00, at least until I run out of those movies on my list.

Patience is definitely a virtue with online ordering, but Amazon (imho) does have the best deals.

No, I never use Amazon. They've got terrible prices for the most part.

My top places for Blus:

1.) CD Warehouse (Great prices. Hands down the best place to buy Blus from. They have a combo of new and used and many times you can get new releases for 15.99 on the release date brand new. Almost always unbeatable)
2.) Fry's (At the point of Sales, because sometimes you can get great deals. Picked up Eastern Promises and Casino both for 4.99 at Frys I do recall)
3.) Best Buy (Believe it or not, they've mis priced a lot of their Blus and I've gotten great deals when they mis price stuff. In addition they've recently started to sell some Blus for 15.99 or less. That's always great.)
4.) Wal mart (Started selling some Blus for 10 dollars. Some great deals if you look)

You've got to look for the deals. You gotta put an effort into it. They aren't just gonna crawl up and bite you. You gotta do a little digging. But great prices are out there. I should know. I've got a lot of Blus.

CD Warehouse can be good if yours has a decent selection. Mine don't have much in the way of newer titles but they do seem to always be running a B2G1F deal.

Most of the newer titles are gone in like a few hours anyways at mine. They can't keep the newer titles stocked because the prices are so great and they are all 15.99 or under unless it's a box set like a tv show.

All my Blu's came from Fry's, Bestbuy and Wal-Mart. Browse the Hot Deals forum and keep an eye out for sales.

Right now, Best Buy has Iron Man for 16.99. Last week they had Transporter 1 and 2 for 14.99 each plus a $5 gift card. Used the $5 gift card for Iron Man at 16.99 and "Boom goes the dynamite". I got a hell'of a deal.
