Switchfoot! Their show is more about the music than the "show".

But, i've never gone to a concert where more than half of the songs on the list were "redone", "abstracted" and "improv" and different than the album versions. And i know every Switcfoot song...

They are so musically talented, it doesn't show as much on the albums as it does live. Their improv version of "dare you to move" is one of the most absolutely beautiful songs ever.

Hearing them live is like hearing them for the first time all over...

(BTW, Relient K and Ruth opened for them, and they were stinking great too. Ruth is now in my top 5 favorite bands ever! and they only have 1 album!!!! hahaha)

The best shows are always surprises, and they are always in bars in unfamiliar towns where you stopped in for a drink early, stayed until the band showed up, then decided to stay the rest of the night, because of the band.

you wouldnt believe how many older people were there and how many people were actually standing around. it was pretty pathetic; they had to get there somewhat early to get those spots and then they just stood there..... most of the older people though are fellow metallica club members so most of us up front were there to enjoy the show

yea, I just saw relient k at the house of blues on halloween.
real fun show... every other band there dressed as the lead, Matthew Thiessen.

nothing trumps seeing The Misfits on halloween tho.

I couldnt believe how varied the ages were at the show I just went to. There were very young children and older people. Metallica is a 24 year old band. Im just gald that they didnt play any Load or Reload.

I've seen Nine Inch Nails twice, and both times the show was fantastic. Those shows are followed closely by the Marilyn Manson show I saw in early '97. He's a very good performer.

I find the cover of that song very offensive.
