I love my PRO-111FD. I have not seen the 5020. The sets themselves are set up somewhat differently. The 5020 I believe has attached speakers built in on the bottom front part of the cabinet. The 111 has attachable speakers on the sides. Right out of the box, I believe the 111 is better set-up than the 5020. I only had my 111 adjusted within the machines abilities, it was never calibrated. My understanding (I was told from my Audio store) is also, that the Elite series TVs may use hand picked parts off of the QC line that spec out the best. But, I can not confirm if this is correct. Also, I believe the warranties are different between the sets.

The 5020 has a bottom speaker ya, & it's detachable. Elites have the same guts.
