Default List of Music Videos and Concerts available

I got my PS3 hook up to a Sony XBR2 52" LCD TV. I'm pretty amazed with the Blu-ray resolution on my new TV. I'm a music lover so I'm planning to collect as many BD concerts and music videos as possible. For now I have only one: U2 - Rattle and Hum. The sound quality is superb. I cannot say much about the video because it is in BW most of the time...
Well, now I'm trying to search for more BD titles to add to my DVD collection. Can you guy list here whatever is available??? What do you have now?? Any music lover around??
Last words: I found this forum 2 hours ago and I cant stop reading it. lol. All of you guys make this one a very useful tool.

Thanks in advance.

If you're into Japanese rock/pop they have a pile of releases over there. Angela Aki, TM Revolution, Hyde, Ken Hirai and more.

Of course Planet Earth, its a must for any Blu-Ray owner, Not mentioned a lot anywhere is the Discovery Atlas Series, which to me are amazing...although only in 1080i .

Amazon lists these as a few of their music Blu-Ray Discs:
-Incubus

black, Thank you!! I'm checking those titles now! Yeap, I forgot to mention that I'm into the documentaries, too! I have lots in DVD format, and Planet Earth and the Discovery Atlas series are already on my BD "must buy" documentary list. If you have any other, let me know!

WickyWoo, I do not know much about the Japanese music, but I will check the titles suggested. Are they easy to find?? Tks

Yeah I have 1 Discvoery Atlas and love it, so im ordering the rest. I also bought Blue Planet today (19 bucks at Costco) and heard its amazing.

Into the Blue is an ok movie but looks great in 1080p HDTV

They're mixed in with all the other Blu titles

I only have the TM Revolution concert, but it's reference video. Simply amazing and the set/costumes are designed from the ground up for an HD taping

Depending on your tastes in music, NIN and Incubus are serious reference quality concert audio on Blu-ray.

Hell nah, dont order thing from Target.com they rape you on shipping and its complete crap. Amazon.com is the best place and almost always the cheapest, also try Dvdplanet, free shipping on orders over 25.

Right on man, I don't think you'll be dissappointed. These discs will have your speakers (and your neighbours) crying "uncle" in no time... My receiver only supports audio through optical from the PS3 - I just can't imagine how much better these bad ass discs are going to sound when I upgrade to a receiver that can pass through the HD audio via HDMI. They already sound simply incredible. Wait'll you see and hear "Closer" from the NIN Blu-ray... DAMN!!!.....

Thanks!! I will do my homework . Actually, I have been buying stuffs from Amazon for a long time, since they started selling only books... I had only one bad experience, but fixed pretty fast through their staff.

Alemano, don't know if you like punk or not, but there is a horror punk band called Balzac on the Misfits record label that are really good. They don't have a BD release but they do have a limited edition of the new cd with a dvd. Go to Misfits.com and find the link to the store, you should be able to order it there. Got a question for you Wicky, is that band Dir En Gray any good? I'm into a lot of goth/industrial music and didn't know if you'd heard of them. That site with the link you provided has a Limited SpiderMan Trilogy box set with a fourth disc of all HD content. Looks nice but at $104 a bit pricey.

Default Concert Blu-rays...

How willing would you be to buy concerts on blu-ray. I would think that the PCM capabilities would make them sound better than being in the audience. Metallica's Binge and Purge boxset would be a perfect fit, along with AC/DC, David Gilmore and the like.

There's already a ton of them, including an AC/DC show
