I am only familiar with the last half of that list so that narrows it down some.

Starship Troopers followed closely by Black Book and then Totall Recall

Basic Instinct. Great performances by Michael Douglas and Sharon Stone. I really liked the 'whodunnit' storyline as well.

Now that Hollywood has run out of good ideas, they are remaking all of Verhoeven's movies.

Starship Troopers is my favorite.

Robocop by far. Total Recall in a solid second place.

Total Recall followed closely by RoboCop and Basic Instinct a close 3rd. The others don't even come close.

Showgirls, which is my most watched Paul Verhoeven movie and which is just so ridiculously entertaining. Everything that's "bad" about the film is what makes it fun and there even are quite a few things that are good, like its direction, cinematography and overall pace.

Next up would be Starship Troopers, The Fourth Man, Spetters, Robocop, Basic Instinct and Black Book.

I've only seen RoboCop, Total Recall, Starship Troopers and Hollow Man, so that's all I have to go on. RoboCop wins by a landslide, though I'm very curious about some of his earlier ones.

I loved Robocop but hate his Starship Troopers. I wish a true to the book version would get made.

I definitely enjoyed Total Recall, as well. Don't care about any of the rest.

Basic Instinct. A sinuous, provocative erotic thriller that is so entertaining one could almost overlook how masterful it is.

My opinion could change, however, if more of Verhoeven's Dutch works were released o Blu-ray. Haven't seen most of them.
