LOL that wasn't very revealing but it does reveal some errors from the movie.

That I think reveals a lot more! Surprised by some of it, to be sure.

I knew I read somewhere, it was a year ago. It sucks that the movie script wasn't true, it would have been better that way!

My choice is Friday Night Lights. One of the most realistic football movies ever made. Titans is good. Rudy is classic. and Necessary Roughness is hilarious, but FNL is my favorite.

I've never seen FNL, is it worth a blind buy?

AMAZING that it took about 45 posts to get to Friday Night Lights. But I agree.

I LOVE Friday Night Lights the film and can watch that over and over again.

A CLOSE but not TOO close second would be the Express.

Both are great football films and are the best IMO.

To say yes would be an understatement. DEFINITELY. The sooner the better.

That's classic. Too many classic lines from that. I love the Annexation of Puerto Rico.

Always love watching The Replacements and the original Longest Yard.

One I haven't seen mentioned yet is Go Tigers. It's a really good documentary on high school football in Masillon, Ohio where the whole town is totally crazy about the team and the pressures on the kids to win. Basically it's like a real life FNL.

How about The Last Boyscout? ah never mind that really is a "football" movie. more of a action flick with football in it.

Two movies come to mind as the best Football movies ever made.

Brian's Song. The story of Brian Piccolo and Gayle Sayers

Rudy The last Norte Dame player to be carried off the field

Friday Night Lights, but Remember the Titans (which was filmed partly in my hometown) is great, too.

I was most pleasantly surprised by We Are Marshall. It made Bobby Bowden look like a saint.
