You'll be hard pressed to notice a differnece. I saw the film theatrically in England and Australia, and the blu ray in Aus is unrated, yet I saw an American version of the dvd and didn't notice any difference (either then for the obvious difference between the aus blu and the american dvd, which of course is an unfair comparrison). I don't doubt that there is one, just that it is extremely small (I also did see the two different cuts around 2 months apart which probably would not have helped).

I only bought the first 6 Bond movies because I got them for dirt cheap from Amazon. I got them for about $1.50 each a while back.

1. Dr. No BD
2. Thunderball BD
3. From Russia with Love BD
4. Live and Let Die BD
5. For Your Eyes Only BD
6. Die Another Day BD
7. Casino Royale BD

I plan to get Goldeneye and Goldfinger sometime in the future. But if there is any great deal on other Bond movies that I don't have, I will mostly likely buy them.

You got them on blu ray for $1.50 I thought they would cost more then that to produce.

Own Bond Vol 1, 2, and 3. Also own Casino Royale (regular edition)

Waiting for a QofS special edition before buying that one, and am unsure if I'll ever pick up Never Say Never Again. Will buy all other classic bonds released though.

Never owned them before blu, so buying them on Blu was an easy decision

So far, I have...

Connery Films: Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, & Thunderball

Craig Films: Casino Royale & Quantum of Solace

The only two Bond films I want that I don't have are Diamonds Are Forever & You Only Live Twice. To me, I have no need to own the other Bonds since they are a bit cheesy (see: Moore, Roger) or a bit over the top (see: Brosnan's gadgets).

I have the DVD Boxed sets (all four) and will not replace all of them. So far I have the last two Craig films on Blu, and will pick up Goldfinger on Blu this week at Target. Eventually I will replace all of the Sean Connery films with Blu rays, but the others I will probably just keep the DVD, because I will only watch them once every few years.

I have all the blu releases except for the two that were the Best Buy Exclusives. I can wait until may to try and get them cheaper, especially since Target dropped the price on the last 4 from 24.99 in week one to 14.99 in week two.

I made the mistake of blind buying the first 5 Bond Blu Steelbooks (I knew not to get Die Another Day - did not like the film). I know I'm probably in the minority but the only one I liked was Dr. No & For Your Eyes Only. I didn't see myself re-watching the others to own so I sold them here on the Forum.

In addition, I have Casino Royale, Goldfinger (Steel) and The World Is Not Enough (Steel). I'm looking forward to getting The Man With the Golden Gun (have to get this one because it was my first Bond film I ever saw) and Goldeneye.

I'm undecided about QofS - wasn't crazy about it when I went to see it.

Not sure about the others, I will have to watch them first.

I own the first 2 BD sets, and am waiting for a good deal on the third. I also own the BDs of Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. I will probably buy Never Say Never Again at some point when it's cheap.

I have the following on blu-ray:

Casino Royale
Quantum of Solace
Never Say Never Again

Die Another Day (steelbook)
Dr. No (steelbook)
For Your Eyes Only (steelbook)
From Russia With Love (steelbook)
Live and Let Die (steelbook)
Thunderball (steelbook)

Goldfinger (vol. 3 booklet)
Moonraker (vol. 3 booklet)
The World is Not Enough (vol. 3 booklet)

If I could do it all over again, I'd get them all in standard cases. Anyway, I plan to get all of them as they're released.
