Gonna buy this for sure. Don't like Rocky V, but gotta have it for the completion of the series.

I used to hate Rocky V. I had only ever seen it on its entirety once and was never able to sit through it again until last fall when MGM HD ran the first 5 films in their "Climb The Rockys" marathon. I DVRed II, III, IV and V. Started off on a Saturday by watching the first film on Blu-ray and then watched II and III.

On Sunday (the following day) I watched IV, V and then the Rocky Balboa Blu-ray. When watching them all back-to-back as I did, the fifth film is actually quite enjoyable.

I wonder if this boxset is going to happen in the U.S. because Sony owns the rights to the last film, but MGM owns the others.

what do you guys think the qualty will be on the films? Picture etc. Also it says its a 7 disc set, whats on that 7th disc?

Can't comment on the PQ and audio but the 7th disc is extras.

Rocky looks pretty bad and afaik they're using the exact same transfer as the standalone release.

which is 100 times better than the normal dvds,, those were horrible!!!!! they looked bad on upscaled dvd players abd blu rays
