Out here it's flat 14 EUR for shipping.

I guess you have free shipping?

They're pretty good with small orders, your Steelbook should be fine.

It 10 euro for shipping (or so it says) so about $13. Doesn't seem too extravagant for me to have it shipped to the states.

About the same as I pay AB when he ships to us from Germany... that's pretty much how I compared the two.

But yeah, I can see where a 14 euro flat rate would suck.

tiger_qc you will get use to it! Everytime I order from amazon.co.uk I always receive some not sealed disc.
And the language stuff is like you are playing a Japan game, where you don't know a word what it's saying but you know where you have to click

If you guys do preorder this from Amazon, don't believe their Release Date (May 12), because it is wrong. Sony Pictures commented to bluray-disk.de that the Film will release on June 4.

Yea, that Info came a bit later at bluray-disk.de as well. Amazon exclusve fom 12 May to June 4.General Release is the June 4.

What's confusing is "What exactly does that mean?". Will the Steelbook be generally available from June 4? Or will the Steelbook continue to be amazon.de exclusive and in Amaray everywhere else? Or, the Steelbook will only be available until june 4, after which only Amaray will be available?

Questions, questions and more questions...

Well, since the majority probably will pre-order and buy it within 2-3 weeks after release date I'd say it's a good deal for Amazon to keep it exclusive for four weeks. And probably cheaper to owe the exclusive rights only for a limited time as well. Guess it's worth giving it a thought if you're looking for profit.

anyone know how is the amz de ships the package?

nice box with filled bubbles or flap over dang things as french does?

if they are like amz fr , oh boy, I cannot dare to order for these beauties.

Depends on the quantity you order, but I usually order movies by 3 and they've put them in a tight cardboard. Everything's arrived ok so far.

Amazon is great with small packages but they suck with bid orders.
Hopefully it's easy to get refund/free replacement with them.
A+ for customers service and small orders and C- for shipping big orders.

yea they use the same packaging as amazon.fr, however most come unscathed compared to Amazon.fr. Im not sure why but thats the case
