It is hardly Paramount's fault that Blu-ray does not support DD+ at anything less than 7.1.
This doesnt make any sense.

If it supports DD+ 7.1, then it should be able to support DD+5.1 as well.

And if DD+ is like this, then how is DTS HD then, the same as DD+. Not supporting DTS HD 5.1, but it does support DTS HD 7.1?

Note: I said DTS HD, not DTS master HD.

that isn't the point...it's not about being superior or acting superior...

I read his 1st post and it came off like some of the other crap I've seen recently...he has 8 posts and he's already trying to convince everyone that there is something to worry about...

and I AM NOT SAYING THAT POST COUNT MEANS ANYTHING.....because I can't stand people who assume this....post count means nothing and I awol'd this site for several months before I really started posting again...you can know all out BD and just find this site today....but be slighted because you don't "have enough posts" and that is crap...

I read his posts in this thread and I call bullshit....that's all...

it's the fact that he came right in and he's trying to make a point that we have something to worry about and the "real" new members could probably be swayed into thinking so...only because the 'upcoming release dates' don't look favorable...and now the sky is falling...

I know post count doesn't mean much. Look at Valore, he probally knows more about Blu-ray than most people here, but he only has 100 somthing posts.

If you read my first post you would see that it was less about "worry" and more about activism. I only asked if anyone knew of some venues to contact the studios the express dissatisfaction. Hardly "fishy". Maybe after I've been on the forum as long as you I'll get paranoid as well.

I think we need to quit fighting and focus on what's most important: Blu-ray!

exactly...

I think it's a good idea to lurk before posting so you know what is actually going on.....

test the water...put your feet in it and sample it, to see if it's safe to jump in...

Hey look, my total posts are now up to 10 - 11 with this one! On my way to becoming superior. Haha. I'm just kidding. But seriously, I was only wondering if others were as annoyed with the current state of affairs and had any suggestions/outlets. That's all. Take it easy.

Got it,

I am new and haven't seen any threads about the current situation (which happened within the last few months with titles being canceled/delayed) so I thought it was topical.

But I really didn't think it was "nothing". Maybe I just need to learn some patience.
