just go to Atlantis...I've heard that place is amazing.

It's not all inclusive though and expensive. The price to goto Atlantis is the same as going to an all inclusive resort except you have to pay for everything.

I got a tour pass to the Atlantis resort when I went to the Bahamas. That was the only place we went outside of our resort. If (I mean when

) I go again, I will not leave the resort. In my opinion, Atlantis is not worth the money. The only thing I liked their was their water slides. They were pretty cool looking. Their casino sucked, but I wasn't looking to gamble there anyways.

I've heard the food there costs more than Vegas. Plus, there are tons of families that goto Atlantis so you wouldn't be able to get away from kids.

Yeah if I could afford to go there I would try it. But it sure is expensive.

Going from the Sandals resort to the Atlantis was night and day...kids EVERYWHERE! If I was going to the Bahamas with kids, Atlantis would be the way to go.

Been to Ochos Rios at the Sandals and it was a great time!! Lots of snorkeling, sailing whatever you want to do. If your an adventure filled person then take a trip into the town especially if you like the local herbs to smoke

Yeah Sandals is looking more like the way to go over the RIU resorts. The only thing is for the price of Sandals we can get the suite at RIU.

I'm very excited now. We've rescheduled the trip to mid October to be at the very tail end of the rainy season. September might be a little too wet there.

Are you doing Sandals Jamaica or Bahamas? Bahamas is the run-away poll winner.

I know. I kind of want to do Jamaica though because of a certain substance that is easy to acquire there. Unless it's found in the Bahamas too.

trust me, it can be more trouble than it is worth (offer to sell you something and then call the police over on you - you have to bribe them both to get out of the situation)...you live in the easiest place to acquire the sticky ick in the US - go to a doctor that will give you a script and hit up a dispensary...if anything, at least they got the medical mar. stuff correct in CALI

You can get that anywhere you go.

It may be easier in Jamaica, but like the post above, it is probably easier for you to run into trouble there to.

I think it comes down to this...if you are looking for a nicer and more relaxing place, pay the extra for the Bahamas. If you just want to party and do activities, save some money and go to Jamaica.
