I think it's no f-ing way.

I'm there too. But for some reason I'm still reading this post... it's like when I can't resist the temptation to look for gore as I pass a car accident.

Anyway... This title is $10 for the Blu Ray at BJ's if you print the coupon and if you're not a member just ask someone who is because they constantly send me coupons to give to other people for "day passes."

Thought I should mention the $10-ness since $45 has been mentioned a few times.

No one's forcing you to buy any of those. Heck, I'd never buy Camp Rock or HSM3. But I'll gladly buy this movie if I find it at a reasonable price.

Ah. Never crossed my mind.

What store is that? I've seen it constantly referenced in forums but have no idea which it is. I tend not to ask because I fear leaving the door open for a double entendre but... I'm too damn curious to worry at the moment.

$15 was good enough for me to get HMTM. Solid PQ, AQ, plus all those music videos as well and the bloopers were hilarious. I'd jump on it now for $15 before it goes back up to $25-35 after the coupon goes away.

Bj's is actually the name of the store. It's sort of Cosco-like or like Sam's Club. It's a store where you tend to buy bulk and pay a fee to join. You can see if there's one near by just going to

www.bjs.com

(Seriously... if typed correctly they won't set off your filtering software alarm.)

Most of the time when Disney has $10 off coupons it brings the BJ's price close to $10 or $11 which is great if it's something you want.

And guess what? They will sell at the $30-$38 store prices because people want them.
I really really hope there's a $10-off coupon for Adventureland. That would be boss!

Hmmm,

My daughters are 9, 6, and 4... I bought them HSM2 and HSM3 but seems they only like the original one.

Wonder if they would like this.... I know I can get it for $10. I just don't think they ever even heard of Miley. (Seriously... not kidding.)

I know they love Nightmare Before X-Mass... they just watched that one for like the 14th time.

This is one of those movies that kids will enjoy and parents will painfully suffer!

Thanks for the info. Given I've never heard of them outside of forums, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't have any here in Puerto Rico.

And after checking, yup, they don't exist here.

Dear Octavio do not generalize the hate for this title/character, if kids like Hanna is a good chance for a good quality time to expend with the complete family, as I did last night, thank God for the combo with SD DVD, will be a long time to watch it again in HD

Yeah,... Got that. Watched it (alone) just the other night. I think it would scare them except for the 9 year old.

It's scary. I enjoyed it.

I am just saying what I've seen and heard from other parents I know. All those movies featuring Hannah Montana, Jonas brothers, Cheetah Girls, etc. are painful to watch if you are not a young kid. My 9-years-old is starting to find boring these movies as well (Something that I celebrate).
Last day she saw Miyazaki's 'Howl's Moving Castle' and she loved it. She's growing and she is learning that these "plastic" stars like Hannah Montana, are empty and shallow.
However NOBODY is saying that you cannot enjoy the time that you could spend with your kids while "watching" a flick like this. But then perhaps you are enjoying it despite the movie.

Sorry, but that's what I think. Perhaps you love the movie. I don't.

Y por qué lo tomas tan personal? Ya te pareces a los vatos de supervaca! tranquilo, compadre!

Somehow ... I can relate.

My kids finally agreed to watch HSM 3 the other day (they didn't like HSM2) and once in a while I could swear I got that "what the heck were you thinking" look from them while they were watching it.

Things is.... I got it for like $12 or something... It was a trap!!!

I was talking to a girl that was 20 or so and she said she didn't like the second High School Musical because Troy is a jerk and it focuses more on Ryan and Sharpay. I like all of them but it's easy to see how some could only like one of them.

Bhampton. I don't really see it as scary so I didn't think of that. Oh well.

Well the first HSM (ITLO) was ok, nothing special but its over rated. HSM2 sucked. TL's younger sis liked HSM 1 & 2 and them watched 3 and said it sucked

You reaffirmed your manliness by watching almost nude muscle men? Seems a bit contradictory to me.

Watching it for the first time on blu-ray. The movie itself could be better but to see Miley looking gorgeous (not challenging for her) and acting (more challenging but she managed it) is a pretty big deal. That's not to say the movie sucked, it's at least an 8 by itself, 9 or higher for fans.

Can't wait till she does Wings even if the book itself was far from perfect.

On a related note, it'll be a shame if Emily doesn't do anything after the show is over. She can act and is just as pretty.

Now if only they can put HM the show and WOWP onto blu-ray....

NFW is most definitively no F******g way. I have no children and this is one the times that I know why. So that movie doesn't even get close to my TV.

I have no children yet I enjoyed this movie (and the series) nonetheless.

My only complaint is that it isn't as funny as the series. That's because Jackson and Lilly were underused. I get keeping Rico and Oliver as cameos (it would have been ridiculous if they all went to Crowley corners - although they could have found a reason for Oliver to show up during the end) but the Lilly/Miley pairing was sorely lacking until the final stretch and the deleted Jackson subplot wasn't all that long.

The only reason the Jackson subplot didn't work is because it never had a moment of Robbie Ray turning the tables on Jackson. That whole bit with the performance art, though amusing, wasn't the type of moment I was looking for. In fact, it doesn't even come across as if Robbie Ray figured out what was going on. It looked more like he was laughing at what he might have misinterpreted as Jackson trying to unsuccessfully hit on one of the students. Had they had Robbie Ray nail Jackson in one of his lies (like he does in the show), the whole sequence would have fit in nicely with the movie and added some much needed comedy.
