Yeah just report it after you finish up the class. No need in anythign happening to the grade. Like if you were to report her and then she is suspended or something then they mighht invalidate the grade and you would have to retake the course.

exactly...I have my grades on Blackboard. The system all the schools use for grades. But yea. I'll wait

Like I said, Just get together with a few other students and make sure that at the end of the semester, they all give her a true evaluation of her teaching skills, or lack there of.

I assume this is the same teacher I hunted down online.

She has a website, and it's fun. I bet I could hear pacvibes coughing in the back of the class if I watched the entire lecture.

I'd talk to her after class one day, and fake an interest in transferring to CSU and majoring in communications, and then asking her if she can put you in touch with one of her students there, so they can tell you what it's like. Then ask that student if she does the same things at CSU.

There's no real good answer. If she doesn't do it there, does she feel like she can get away with it at your school and not CSU? And if she does it at both, she might as well be fired from both.

From the video I don't recall her being too old, so I doubt she's tenured at CSU, and I don't think CC's have tenured professors, so she can give up on the teaching side-gig and focus full time on her makeup business.

Just sit back, relax, and accept your A/B grade. After the grades are in the books, then complain if you want.

if you're not satisfied with the way she teach her class then report her to the dean but be sure to have proof of bad conduct on her part to back up your claim or go to the dean as part of a group of dissatisfied student because if you go alone with no proof it may end up being her word against yours and since she's a teacher with more authority than you....it might become a problem down the line.... good luck

Dont go to the dean. Go talk to the chair of the department you are in. If they dont lock it down, send a snail mail letter to the dean...

There are many more little things such as how she digresses constantly and sometimes it never relates to the subject of conversation.


What I am asking is, should I say something to the dean of the school or leave it alone for my own good?
I dont feel that what she is doing is right. But I dont want anything to backfire on me. Can you guys give me some advice on what to do in this situation?
