It was originally planned to be released August this year, but has been delayed for some reason. The latest update points towards a December release, which seems likely because France is also getting it at the same time.

We usually seem to get 2 catalogue Pixar releases a year. We've had Toy Story 1 and 2 (I think this is being counted as a single release) so that leaves us with one more - A Bug's Life? It might be released alongside TS3 at Christmas.

Why are you guys so pleading for a UK release when you can just get the region free US bluray right now?

I've had this since it came out in America. Why wait? It's £17.99 on playusa.com.

I can wait.

I already have it in SteelBook anyway.

Maybe, but apparently the USA are getting Finding Nemo at Christmas the same time as Toy Story 3, so maybe, if anything, we'll get that instead. And as long as I have waited for A Bug's Life to come out over here, I'd sooner have Nemo over it any day.

Some of us don't like how thin the American releases are, without slipcovers they almost look like fake copies, in my opinion anyway. I'd much prefer the slightly thicker versions, ala the UK copies.

That's a fair comment actually.

It bothers me also. Though not enough to have to wait potentially a year for it. There's a lovely retrospective on the disc with Lasseter and co that's worth the money alone.

Just recieved this from The USA, and i have to say it is excellent, It comes with a slipcase, and although the case is slimmer, Due to the colour being dark Green on the spine, it looks like it is the same size.

Chuffed all round.

I'm very tempted to import it, but I think I'll just wait for the Region B release, shouldn't be too long to wait now, I have a huge list of blu-rays to get so that will keep my money occupied

Can anyone inform me about the region for UK release? Is it region free? I hope so, although I doubt it

The US release includes galleries which are absent from all international releases.
