The Punisher has a horrible PQ, you can see on dark scenes terrible macrobloking problems. The trailer I watched on few BR looked fantastic but the movie itself is as awfull as a DVD compressed into a 680MB VCD.

OMG a monster with a shaky camera and little teenagers running around. How freaking fun

Movie is pure garbage and i will keep saying it. CLOVERFIELD SUCKS

Black Christmas isn't the best transfer by any means. In fact I agree that the PQ could have been much better but it still looks better then 28 Days Later.

I heard from day 1 that 28 Days Later looked like cowdung so I passed on buying it (though I bought the sequel on blu)
I figured I'd just keep my dvd copy. At least that's one bad blu that I didn't
invest in!

Wasn't 28 Days Later shot with digital cameras? For that indie, gritty feel. That why it looks so crappy. Except for the final scene, it was shot on 35mm film.

The Italian Job. After reading the "official review" and seeing a rating of 2 for pq, I jumped from scene to scene and man was I disappointed. Made me look at reviews for all BDs before I buy. Thing is I saw Hustle & Flow reviewed just recently and it got the same poor pq rating as TIJ. I watched it and had no problem with the pq at all. For me, better to read user reviews instead from now on. Matter of fact, maybe I should look at TIJ again before I attempt to trade it at BBuster, as some user reviews rated it high. (Yep, I trust you guys more than any single critic.)

As for 28 Days Later and Dracula, I bought and watched them both with low expectations going in. But if the director intended them to look like crap and they do look like crap...it's still crap and a waste of my time.

One scene in ocean thirdteen is absolute worst pq of any blu-ray i see, extreme grain and color jack up, big let down consider this movie is only a few years old, at top of that the movie don't even had hd sound, warner often like to rip off release crappy version first and try to double dip later on.

Hands down: Full Metal Jacket. I am certain this movie looks better on VHS. I know this movie is old, but so is Deliverance, and they did a pretty rad job with that.

Sounds like you might have the old original release. They made things right with a new version in Oct 2007, and it looks fantastic.

I'm not sure, but I don't think they did. Maybe if you contacted them directly?
