Wasn't Rocky one of the first Blu-ray releases? I don't think they took their time for this one.

I'm pretty sure Rocky 6 won't be included. It is a Sony title while the others are MGM.

But MGM is doing the preparing and they only have the rights to 1-5. So if Balboa made it in the boxset it should be the same unless Sony has something up their sleeves.

No way. Balboa was actually really good movie, and heartfelt with him dealing with Adrian's passing. Rocky V was a joke.

go watch rocky 5 again. it's much more entertaining than balboa. it got a bad rap for coming after the awesome rocky 4.

V is definitely my least favorite of the 6, but i love all of them and thought balboa was actually pretty good

I don't even remember Rocky V and I never saw Rocky VI because it was made so long after the others. Maybe I'll see them when I get the set, who knows?

Sweet, I love all of these films, even the greatly unappreciated Rocky V. Day one purchase for me. Wonder if they'll do anything extra for Rocky Balboa . . . that was a pretty good disc to begin with.

I like how, in each successive film, he took more and more brutal beatings, but by part 4 his face was barely swollen or bloody anymore.

Rocky Balboa is a great film.

Balboa is definitely superior to part V. A Rocky film where he doen't fight in the ring doesn't really seem like a Rocky film. Kind of like a Star Wars movie without space travel. I was very disappointed in Rocky V. Having acknowledged our mutual dislike of the film, why is it that we keep watching it? Maybe it's not as bad as we think?...
