I just saw Surrogates. Unfortunately it was on DVD and not blu-ray, but I didn't want to take a chance on this and blind buy it. Instead I rented it for $1 from a Redbox. For the movie itself I rate it a 3/5. It's definitely worth a rental, but I won't be buying it.

An epic masterpiece on so many levels. Marlon Brando's performance as Don Vito was my favorite.
It's more epic when not edited for TV.

District 9 . just watched it again for the 3rd time and it gets better ever time. I enjoyed it this time more than the previous 2 times

Also watched the Hangover again ... and still i think it drags on too long and is overhyped. Only part i liked was the chinese fag who gets out of the truck naked with his hairy bush

Superman/Batman: Public Enemies

4/5.

Very solid animated feature from DC.

Towers above Superman: Doomsday (was 'eh') and Batman: Gotham Knight (which sucked imo). But not quite on par with Green Lantern: First Flight.

Majority of the voice acting was good. Especially Luthor, Wayne and Kent. Kevin Conroy = THE Batman.

I recommend it.

I have a question. I already gave my review of Marley & Me. I was wonderin however
[Show spoiler]why wouldnt they go for the surgery instead of putting Marley to sleep? I know they said she may not survive goin into surgery but thats a maybe. My thing is do the surgery and if she survives then all the better if not then she dies anyway just like if u put her to sleep.
Just wondered about that if anyone has an opinion. Got Em!!

[Show spoiler]sometimes it's just time to let go and the ending wouldn't been so "powerfull" if the dog lived anyways

Quo Vadis BD. A Roman epic with serious religious overtones. The PQ is fantastic, and the set design for this movie is unreal. I'd recommend it to classic movie fans.

Or, has written a bogus post dated check?

Those tears demonstrate sensitivity. You have scored massive points with the Mrs.

Over the last few days:

Inglourious Basterds for the fifth time. Not much between this and Pulp Fiction. The opening scene is one of the best in the history of film from those that I have seen. I like the humor too. Best use of a Bowie song in a motion picture (although Lost Highway was great too). PQ 5/5, AQ 5/5, movie 5/5

T2 Skynet Edition
Not bad if you turn your brain off at the door. Lots of action and a bit of humor. Stands up reasonably well today. PQ 3.5/5, AQ 4/5, movie 3.5/5

Terminator Salvation
All action and very little plot. Bale was decent as usual. As action movies go, this wasn't bad. PQ 5/5, AQ 5/5, movie 3.5/5

Changing Lanes
Ben Affleck didn't annoy me and Samuel L. Jackson was excellent. Pretty good story and something I might own at some point. PQ 4/5, AQ 3.5/5, movie 4/5

Pierrot Le Fou
I watched the DVD version to try and decide whether to pick up the Criterion before it goes OOP. This was my first Godard experience. I like unconventional things and this certainly fits into that category. I'm still not sure what I saw. The scene where the guy on the dock was talking to him about a tune in his head was hilarious 4/5.

Twin Peaks
I watched the pilot and the first four episodes. Still the best series ever to make it to TV. I love escaping into that world. Funny in a bizarre way and genuinely frightening in places 5/5

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer
Not the most pleasant thing to watch, but interesting. I don't want to own it though.
PQ 4.5/5, AQ 4/5, movie 3.5/5.

[Show spoiler] He was an old dog. Dogs that size I believe avg. out to about 12 years for life expectancy so he was most likely very near that age also.
Just a guess
