Don't own the disc, but over at cine-facts.de they say the audio is still the same as the old german release :/ Don't know about the gamma... sorry. But I guess it's the same transfer as on the AT Limited Collector's Edition: http://caps-a-holic.com/c.php?d1=738...00&i=4&l=0&a=1

Kickboxer: Retaliation will be released on Blu-ray in the UK on March 5th, 2018. Maybe a US release follows soon afer (or maybe even before) March 5th.

So I did zero research, I really wanted to watch Lionheart, realized the US only has it in the $50 5 pack which I didn't really want to spend that money on. So I went to Germany and UK to see what they had. It seems Germany has a Directors Cut blu and a 2 Disc edition with 3 cuts of the film. The UK had a blu with 4 discs (no info on what was on discs though) which ended up being $14 shipped so I went with that. Any one have any info on these releases (I'm sure it's in the thread but I don't feel like wading through 30 pages).

You mean this?

There's no 4-disc set to my knowledge.

It says 4disc but reading reviews it's incorrect and it's not even the uncut version. bummer. I should have bought the german disc.

I guess that's what I get for being impulsive.

That UK release is a single disc, and it's the R-rated. I have it. If you want the uncut version, you have made a good choice with the German 3-disc.

You should note that the director's cut is slathered in DNR and looks a lot worse than the R-rated cut.

Also, there's an editing gaff which I don't think any edition has fixed, when Van Damme asks about his brother's killers.

I noticed the DNR issue when I was comparing screen grabs but I've never seen the directors cut so I'm still interested in it.

Is Legionnaire any good? I know I saw it when it came out but can't remember anything about it.
