Also, what kind of delivery dates can I expect from a Target pre-order?

Target will charge you for the price when you placed the pre-order. Target doesn't automatically adjust their prices to the release day prices. Shipping usually range from 5 to 9 days.

If that's the case, then I think I'll plan on just picking stuff up in the store, and returning the pre-orders. Game of Thrones in particular is going to be $10 cheaper based on the leaked ad for next week, and I've never had any trouble with stock running out at my store. Although I did cut it seriously close on their 3D Avengers disc. Got the last one.

You can always just take it to the store and get a price adjustment.

Just go to the store. I just preorder stuff if I know it will be limited and I won't be able to pick it up on release day. If I am able to pick one copy then I just return the preorder copy in-stores.

Probably the stock allocated for the online store has all been preordered.
Crap! Waited too long to place my order for the Steelbook, hope they make it available again.

I will either go in for a price adjustment, or return the pre-orders. Should involve about the same amount of effort either way.
Thanks for the advice, fellas.

Lol, no I didn't. I don't come across them much since I'm not in North America and don't get those versions that much so it doesn't come up often. I just went and did it with my Fifth Element and yay, no more annoying clip there.

Pics please? Not home, otherwise I'd try it out myself!

You don't need pics. Trust me. It's literally braindead simple. When the case is open, just push that little clip back into the case and keep pushing it inwards. It will clip in place, guaranteed.

What do you mean by "removed?" Because we are not talking about removing anything. Nobody has said anything about not removing them for fear of not being able to close the case. We are talking about keeping them on AND getting them out of the way simultaneously.

[Show spoiler]

I didn't know that the clips could snap down, but then again, they never bothered me to where I would want to remove or see if they would snap down inside the case.

An interesting thing I noticed about The Jungle Book BD case is that it has those clips as well. Just by looking at the case it doesn't seem like it would, since it had already had been snapped down inside the case.

Does anyone know if the 3D version will have a Disney Movie Rewards code? I didn't see anything about DMR in that unboxing video.

I'm a bit relieved I've been buying the 3D versions since the first Thor, my copies are nice and uniform.

Honestly that 2D blu-ray looks cheap, there's no way in hell I'm paying $20 for that. I think even if you loathe 3D, you should still get the 3D edition. At least it comes with a decent slipcover. For $5 more, you can have a much better looking product.
