Will the boxset be separate bluray cases in a slipbox ? If so then i can trow away the slip and the last two films and keep part 2 and 3. Would save me money cause the separate releases are expensive.

I was going through more of my collection and noticed there were some interesting shots in the Japanese Program Book. These pictures seem to be outside the U.S. newspaper set and press kit (original release 1973). I have that set and also the slide set. It's not unusual for a different set of publicity material to be used internationally.

This one is weird one. It looks like two shots combined. One of the priests on the floor and the other of Regan in her bed. The first is from the exorcism and other of Regan earlier in the film. Back in 73' there wasn't the Photoshop easy way of doing this so this is real cut and paste - and actually done very well.

Here's the cut scene of Chris taking Regan out site seeing for her Birthday....

Here's a great show just prior to the exorcism - note that Karl is suited up for the cold room, ready to help during the exorcism.

Here's an unusual pic of Regan...

I don't think I will buy this one. I don't like Exorcist III and The Beginning isn't that good, I rather download Dominion and watch it on my notebook.
The only one I will buy is Exorcist II, I really like this sequel, is not that good but worth watching.
I also buyed the Exorcist digibook days ago from a seller and would love to have it signed by Linda Blair but I don't think she would come to Brazil and that's sad.

That's very cool, you tried to talk with her? She was on the street or inside the convention? This is one of the reasons why I want to move to the USA, everything about horror films is there. These conventions seems to be amazing.

There was a sign on the front door that said "No Lindas Allowed" so she just hung out in front of the building, twisting her head for passerby's, and vomiting green pea soup on those that bothered her.

When I was a kid I used to set up my tape recorder in front of the TV with the mic in from of the speaker and wait for the advertisements for movies I wanted to see so I could record them. Since was before home video it was the only way. Sometimes instead of just waiting I would call up the stations and ask for the programing schedule for the commercials so it would make it easier.
Sometimes I would call up the local theater and tape this over the phone. (listen to the whole thing for the end part)

It looks like Warner will be releasing Dominion on its own in Spain:

Yes, the discs are very likely the same exact ones found in the tprevious releases.

edit: Sorry I didn't notice you wrote 40th anniversary. I don't think it will have the 3rd disc from that. It should have the first 2 with all the extras from those however.

I could be totally wrong but I'm not yet convinced it includes the third disc that was exclusive to that edition.

I totally read his post wrong above. I swore he just said the regular Exorcist release. Yeah, I don't think it will include the 3rd disc from the 40th anniversary release.

Nah - not even close. This is a one-film franchise IMO. The story is complete and well told as is. Its one of those things where I dont care to know years and years of backstory and fabricated stuff. I appreciate that they tried to keep the momentum going with the franchise and all that but.... the original is sooooo damned good that the task of making sequels is basically insurmountable.

Same problem for Alien/Aliens, Raiders Of the Lost Ark, and some other franchises where the sequels are useless.

2 weeks to go and there's still no techs and specs for the discs.

I'm really interested in seeing what extras are included with the sequels/prequels if there's actually any included.
