well if the pa120 can do it im sure the sub12 can... i get absolutely nothing from my sub.. and this is after calibration and running it 5.5dB hotter than everything else..

but my reference was set at 70db (21dB reading on rcvr) i have only watched the movie at at 28dB on rcvr.. 21dB (refernce point) is too loud... i had to actually touch the sub to see if anything was happening,, does anyone know what the cannons freq response is

i will get the sub12.. and then the a2-300... and i will try both upfront and then move the sub12 around.. will try to hid it first....

personally, you'd have to end up compromising anyways, so id suggest to hold back on your ED sub for now, and see how good this one performs. heck you can even buy two to get a smoother bass response in your room. as rule of thumb, its always better to have two identical subwoofers, instead of mixmatching them. easier to blend, and no grounds for fighting.

Jomari, what program is that?

More movies played on with the AA as .2 - QoS, Cloverfield, and Band of Brothers. When I finish a week of testing, I will report back with my full observations. So far they do run the gamut from positive to negative.

i rarely condone this website, as to a lot of FUD floats around here, but nonetheless, sometimes it does give some good examples.

Does AA have a website? I can't seem to find one. Also, anyone know if they are planning to build any other speaker types like towers, bookshelf, etc? It seems a little weird you can find hardly any info on them online!

Ok guys..I have been doing some research to help my nephew set up a small HT. Some of the Audios Gurus (jjxiv1215, Big Daddy, Aramis109, and prerich) have been awesome in helping me out

. Anyways, I have a Polk PSW 110..but after hanging out in the audio threads I felt an itch to buy a sub for myself. Made an offer of $185 for the Acoustic Audio HD-SUB12 (black) and it was accepted

. so, now I belong in this club.

Yea I posted what I paid a few days ago but it still has not shown up. Waiting for administrator review or some crap like that. I thought it had something to do with the fact I had just registered. Anyway they accepted 170 from me. Sorry I didn't get the info to you sooner could have saved you 15 bucks.

now that you have tested your camera... how does the sub sound now that you added the poly.. and dio you notice anything different before and after.. ???..

Yeah, I have to take pictures of my whole setup

. I am going to buy a cheap digi camera this weekend as my son ruined the last one. Now I am thinking of ways to deter him for either sitting, standing, or jumping in the new sub.

What, are we not trusty enough?

Just think of how many lurkers we have out there reading these threads and not making an account on here. I've always wondered what percentage of Blu-ray users are registered on this forum, and then what percentage of those are active. It's probably a thimble-sized percentage.
