It's a pity, because between the aliasing and scaling artifacts, it's a bit disappointing. Just leaving Pshop's default setting alone (auto-bicubic?), Pshop chooses the best method for you. Somebody had to do that intentionally, which is baffling. Arcade game nostalgia, maybe?

You get get that same upscaled effect if you change the image dimensions in the URL on the disney media site. I just tried it, inputting those exact dimensions and it looks pretty much the same. Maybe it was downloaded like that first?
