And it's also the least known marvel property in the MCU besides Gaurdians. Gaurdians may have been unknown, but it was also a VERY easy sell. It was Star Wars basically. It also came out in a terrible, garbage summer. Ant Man has come out in one of the busiest summers in a while, during a period where movies have been holding quite well too.

Ant-Man has done excellent for being what it is. I sincerely doubt marvel expected it to make more than what it will, and probably expected even less.

Its not as good as the original, but it holds up fairly well. I didn't like it at first, but eventually came to appreciate it. The best scene in the whole film is still Black Widow fighting all those guards.

After at least The Spectacular Now and Whiplash, I think the guy is pretty good. I've seen a few duds that he was in (Divergent, 21 & Over, That Awkward Moment), but I wouldn't blame him for them.

You are comparing movies that you have seen to a movie that you havent seen? Or did you actually see Trank's FF4?

I actually love Iron Man 2, even though I would readily admit it is flawed due to its vilains (Hammer and Whiplash should have had a better treatment).

My favorite moment is Tony watching the old film of his father, realizing at the same time he is following a pattern for which he despised his father (overworking and Alcoholism), -and- that in spite of everything he still was the most important thing in the world to his father, who did not know how to show it aside from leaving him his legacy.

Powerful stuff if you take the time to appreciate it imo.

This "movie" made me really sad and angry. One of the worst I've ever seen.

Where was the family? Where was the story? Where was the $120 million?

If this "movie" was a person, he'd so deserve this:

If you haven't seen it and you're curious like me, don't.

Trust me.

just on him getting work again from any reputable studio
