Oh yes, the HDDVD/Blu-ray war. I was on the wrong side of that battle

But I did get a really good deal on a HDDVD player from Best Buy at the end of all that. I think it was like a $500 player and I got it for $89.99 or something.

I'm forever 29...at least in Destiny!!

Edit: No, not close to my real age.

If you play with level 30 guys who never played it before they reached 30, they have no idea how much tougher it really is.
The guy with the relic can shoot oracles with the special, if you all have supers up you can make orbs it makes it easier for the relic holder. Also once the gates are open someone can poke their head through and help shoot oracles & enemies too.

As a last ditch effort I've actually dropped the relic to help shoot then picked it back up and repeated until oracles are dead.

So far I'm the only one in their 20s to post their age. I was only 20 years old when I signed up, also during the HD war. I was mainly a home theater buff here.

29 here... still able to be lumped in with JJ.

I'm only lvl 27 so far, but I'm down to jump in on a normal raid and any of the Daily/Weekly/Nightfalls if anyone is ever needing another guy

Those are all good tips. See, I have not been with a group yet that beat him. Only with level 30 guys who wait for the 29 guy to pick it up and go do what he always does on normal mode without saying anything about it. And then get irritated after a while because he dies. Fail.

does the epilogue have a slower rate of fire upgrade or better accuracy upgrade??

I used it a bit w/o upgrading it at all last night and it was pretty unruly.

Looking like a 2 raid Tuesday again.

First raid (8 EST)

Casual
Burn
Max
Benny
Bennys Bro?
Grovey?

Burn can help in raid 2 if we don't fill in
I remembered today.....I won't be able to make it Tuesday night.....we're heading to Green Bay to see Motley Crue!!

if anyone wants to run the raid later in the week, let me know. myself, my little bro, and a buddy would all be willing to help out.

I got to level 28 last night, my bro is 28 as well and my buddy is either a level 28 or 29 titan.

I also bought an exotic engram from Xur this morning and scored the Skull of Dire Ahamkara!!

I kind of like going for dmg per shot over dmg per second. There's too few instances where u just get to fire without interruption.

Main loadout is hand cannon, sniper, and gjhallarhorn.

I'm 43 but still feel like a kid. I came to the site when I got my 3D BD player. Which was my first BD player. And my 3D TV was my first 1080p TV. Anyway, when I got my BD player there was an invitation card to join the blu-ray forum so I checked it out and joined.

Been mostly in the PS4 forum since I decided I was going to get back into gaming and get a PS4.

I just realized I can get my 2nd titan to 30 without gear swap so I need to go farm up mats this weekend.

Farming mats is such a pain
