Well, that standard edition only came after Second Sight recouped their cost for the project by first selling through 14,000 copies of a deluxe $110+ box set, so some context for this “£29.99 standard edition” is warranted.

Given Arrow's history with BR rereleases I'd imagine we'll get a non deluxe 4K with both, a standard 4k with just BR, a steelbook of the BDs, a Zavvi exclusive 4k Steelbook of the UHDs, a BD release of 2 with both cuts, a BD release of 2 with just one cut, and then a new deluxe box set with 4K versions of all of them.

Just checked the database here, this is their 8th BR release in 11 years!

To be fair, I think BR is one of their all-time best sellers, so I don't blame them for milking it - we need to remember that the proceeds from this help fund all sorts of other releases.

Oh I'm not complaining, they didn't make me buy any of them and if people didn't keep buying them they wouldn't keep making them. I'm very grateful Arrow bring us so many weird Japanese films and no doubt we'd have fewer without this cash cow.

REBBOXSET is heavily rumoured to be a Bill Rebane boxset, and Ghost W is absolutely without a doubt A Ghost Waits, seeing as they’re heavily promoting it for an April release on their streaming service.

As stated, MAST was Death Has Blue Eyes in April, so who knows what the extra D was.

Grudge Boxset and Halloween 2&3 are baseless speculation with no proper rumour or confirmation at this points and if anything, Hx2 is more likely Hellraiser 1&2 given Capelight is putting out the first on UHD.

I already have the limited edition Blu-ray Battle Royale box set.
This 4K limited edition isn't a purchase I'd feel happy with...
...but I'd regret it if I saw one going on eBay for £100 in a few months.
I assume this is the first physical 4K release of a live-action Japanese film in the UK...maybe I'll buy it on its historical value...

I just wish it was a release of something new. A Tomie collection. Some Juzo Itami films. Anything!

I assume all of the extras are the same - feels like they've thrown in BRII and the CDs just to tempt us...

I'd only buy the new release if it included the 3D version of Battle Royale, it's a massive oversight leaving that out.

I went ahead and ordered the Oldboy 4K steelbook from Zavvi. Now I have to cross my fingers that it doesn't arrive all dented. The Demons 4K set is next. I might also get Donnie Darko. I'm not the biggest fan of the film, although I do like it, but it would be cool to have it in UHD.

It seems a bit aspirational, so I assume a number of them are boxsets like the Graveyard of Honor set, two or three films related in some way in a limited slipcase and not Solid Metal Nightmares or Gamera sized sets..
