Deadspin may have found more potentially incriminating texts from Bobby Petrino's cell phone. It found that between September and November Petrino exchanged over 200 text messages with Alison Melder, a 26-year old Arkansas-Little Rock grad who listed herself as the winner of the 2008 Miss Bikini USA and Miss Motorcycle Mania competitions.

That's 20 text messages on average PER DAY! How the heck does a guy have time to run a major football program and do all that on the side while having a family and kids? I thought only teen girls send that many texts.

I was looking it up and his youngest kids are college age. So at least it's not like there are young kida not understanding this. His youngest son Bobby Jr. does attend Arkansas though. Wonder if Jr. is as skilled as pops.

On Friday, April 6th, Major Les Braunns, Commander of the State Police Highway Patrol Division (Western Region) met in Springdale with Captain King and requested Captain King provide a detailed narrative of his involvement with Coach Petrino, the events that occurred in the immediate aftermath of the crash and in the days preceding the completion of the crash investigative report.

A review of Captain King’s narrative provided to Major Braunns and copied to his supervisors, Colonel JR Howard, Director of the State Police and Lieutenant Colonel Tim K’Nuckles has been completed.

Louisville coach Charlie Strong banned local media from spring practice last week because he was upset that the basketball team's Final Four run was getting too much coverage and the football team's spring practices were getting little coverage.

I love Strong as a coach but this is beyond stupid. Football is the undisputed king at nearly every major university in the country. Just not in the state of Kentucky. Strong should know that. If he wants more attention he needs to get the football program back to being successful as it was under Petrino.
