Great to have paniac back. Paniac coming back out of retirement changes everything dramatically, with frakkin toastah and bipflop I had an easy road to my title shot,

Paniac is the biggest threat to my title hopes , unless he doesn't have his heart in the game anymore., Somehow I doubt that.

Is Paniac some kind of legend around here? I'm not familiar.

I'd love to get ZEBRA FORCE, but there's no way I'm paying $20+ for that DVD. However, if Dark Force were to somehow convince Bill to allow a BD release...

The recent passing of Joe Tornatore may have thrown a wrench in the works, though.

That's why it was a positive comparison on why they should do pre-orders, not a negative one

An insight into the innocent side of David DeFalco.... He thinks people see these collections of ours, we show them off. He's right that many here are suckers for a special slipcover, myself included, but who's ever going to see this thing, or know what it is? No one gets in that room, in my house, locked every which way, and it wouldn't be much of a sanctuary if I let other people in there, in any case.

Still, what makes it sweet, is how many of you have said no one cares about your movies or even knows what kind you watch, for the most part, but David has faith that, someday, someone will see your Dead Pit limited blu, know what it is, process that it is a limited version, and be oh so impressed. That is just wishful thinking of the nicest kind.

As to the Dead Pit release, they should have it done in another week or thereabouts. I, for one, would say "I can't wait", except I can and I will, happily. I do love a new release, even the waiting.

DEAD PIT Collector's Edition UPDATE:
Then new Collector's Edition Blu-ray for DEAD PIT has been a huge production mainly due to the very first highly customized Slipcover. It took us literally months extra to develop this custom piece and the production has been taking several weeks. The Blu-Ray itself has been replicated and is awaiting the custom slipcover. Applying the glow in the dark paint is a long delicate process. It should be finished now by next week and there is a chance we will have available by end of the week or beginning of the following week. Stay tuned for more details on pricing and availability of this huge cult video collectable as we countdown it's arrival to the Dark Force Superstore:

I’m sure David has faith that many people who want to own Dead Pit Special limited high gloss Glow-in-the-dark 3-D Collectors box will certainly be able to fawn over it afar, via eBay. Ya know, when scalpers Buy most of the stock day one and sell the disc for $80 a pop because they refuse to limit copies to one per customer.

Such a sweet guy.

The slipcover bar has been raised too high by Vinegar Syndrome and, to an extent, 88 Films. Suddenly, regular slips aren't exciting anymore. Gotta be heavy duty cardboard or its just a piece of paper.

That's all about to change in about one week's time. The new Dark Force Customized Slipcovers including DEAD PIT, BREEDERS and GATES OF HELL/PSYCHO FROM TEXAS will guaranteed decimate anything previous from Vinegar and 88 Films. There's actually a very solid reason behind that. Since very early childhood I was a collector of monster and horror collectables and was more obsessed and fanatical about it than probably everyone on here put together. So when trying to create a really cool customized slipcover for the cult home video world I tried to design something that I would be obsessed with owning myself. Although it turned out to be quite challenging, I feel I have succeeded and the first one will soon be unveiled...

I miss the days when people used to watch their movies instead of their slipcovers.

VS set the bar very high with their recent Slaughterhouse “Splitcover” so i’m Very interested in seeing what’s going to decimate it

It's going to be hard to top the new VSA line slipboxes in my opinion, unpretentious as they are. I like their simple functionality. But I am interested to see what we get, certainly.

I remember when DVD slipcovers (back in the day) were all heavy duty cardboard and didn't feel like a piece of paper. Then again there were no such things as eco-cases either. Kudos to VS to having high standards!

Sometimes people just need to be reminded that they're cool just being themselves.

It’s enough to make you wish there was a slipcover.com forum for all the wasted posts here about stupid pieces of paper that clog so many threads.
