So now no sound comes out of the tweeters at all. Connections are good, my center channel gets sound from the tweeter when swapped with either speaker.

I am just surprised that they were easily that blown... Any other suggestions?

I do not seem to find replacement tweeters. If I cannot, my next step would be to change out the front sound stage to something new. Maybe stay with Energy or go another route... Not sure.

How does the C series compare to the CF, RC or Veritas?

Yeah that sucks man. I think there is an option on that Onkyo where you can limit how high the volume can go on the receiver.

Hehe, that's how I am too. What does the UPS site give as the delivery date, is it still today? You would think the status would be out for delivery.

It says end of business day for 1/4/12 in transit. It shipped last Thursday when I ordered it. Usually, when I track stuff on UPS, it's not up to date. Like I would get a package and then check the tracking # in it's either in transit or out for delivery.

Well at least I'm prepared when the RC-10's arive. Yesterday I moved my C-200's to the rear surrounds while I place my old C-100's in storage where I need to box them up whenever I use them again for a spare room or when I sale them.

Let me guess, I would need to do the auto speaker setup with mic on my receiver huh?

Oh yea, I would. It's always good to re-run when replacing or moving speakers.

In fact I'm going to re-run audyssey in a couple of weeks after my new sub and RC-10's have some time to break in.

Your RC-10's still not broken into yet? I can say the same as for my front stage.

Yeah I just got home, and no package. Looks like I'll be waiting for about 3 more hours.

Well, as you know they have a suggested 100 hr break in time on them so I'll wait a while and play some more movies over a few weeks. I'm not running it constantly like I did my initial set so it'll take time. I just got them the Friday before Christmas and I've watched only a hand full of movies so for. I'm not in a major hurry, just enjoying what I have so for.

Yeah Mike, where's the pics!

EDIT: Finally got my RC-10's! They are just a bit smaller than the C-200's.

Cool, glad you gottem there Mike. I'm interested to hear your thoughts on them.

I'll get those pics up soon, just been kind of busy lately, and when I have time to drop in a movie I don't feel like taking more pics.
I took a couple but I want to take the time to get some good ones.

Yeah why don't you swap old and new and listen to music to break them in? Mike, could you wall mount your TV and use the top shelf to put that LCR?

Yeah roughly the same size as the C-100 but trust me they outperform the C-200 hands down.

My first initial thoughts on the RC-10's as surrounds. Well, there is improvement, but nothing compared to the upgrade job I did on the front stage especially going from the center channels C-C100 to the RC-LCR last year. That was probably the best upgrade I did on my system alone, and then my second favorite upgrade would be the C-200's to the RC-30's as fronts.

Anyway, the RC-10's are on point with the rest of my setup now matching the frequency, tone, and balance with my front stage. I played some of The Pacific, and I watched an episode of Generation Kill as both TV shows put the surround speakers in use almost the entire time. I kept going back and forth between my RC-10's (Surrounds), and my C-200 which is now designated as rear surrounds. Both are pretty identical as far as surround speakers, but I notice just a bit that the RC-10's come out clearer. I'm going of course from my short experience but I really hope that when the RC-10's break-in it would sound much better. So far, overall.... I'm happy that I have a set of surround speakers matching my front stage, then again I could of saved that extra money.

Also since it's dark. I'll post pics tomorrow afternoon when there's sunlight. The speaker stands I have just looks bigger than my RC-10's but I'll get used to look eventually.

First I would love to say that we are speaking about surrounds that are not fully broken in, Just try the RC-10 once fully broken in as fronts vs the C-200 and would dare you to also go back to the C-C100 to truly compare. Anyways I know you will love them. Those can take power too 175wpc rms.

Hehe No break in and already improvement, sounds promising if you ask me.

Man, when I first did the RC-LCR swap from the C-C100. Instantly I noticed the huge difference. Mike, and myself can recall that memory from a year ago.

Yeah man, I now have at least a 3.0 setup with my C-Series which I eventually will hook up in the distant future. I decided that I might not sell them anymore since I love my C-100's and my C-C100. Is it possible to get a 4.0 setup? I sill have the bad C-100 speaker which I might never use.

Certainly due to the midranges but you will hear things that you never heard before I swear, give them some time and the investment will be justified. But from what I heard several times comparing the C-200 to the RC-10 it was quite obvious that the RC-10 was a lot better indepth and overall imaging, Try comparing music also once fully broken in.

Please forgive me

I took a few real quick and I'll upload them tomorrow AM from work.
I don't know about mounting that TV. When I first got the RC-LCR I thought about it but haven't made up my mind. The center sounds pretty good where it is. I'm just not sure I want to raise my tv higher than it is. It's right at eye level right now and I like it.
