I don't see why not? I somewhat do it for steelbooks already. They are necessarily cheaper but the artwork tends to be better on imported steels. I would imagine the same thing goes with posters. I haven't but that's because I'm more lookin for the screen print pop culture style and not theatrical posters.

The poster I can get for very cheap is a Swedish Underworld double sided one sheet. Here it is, looks very close the the U.S. release.

That's a good looking poster... my favorite from that series naturally is one of the more expensive ones:

It all comes down to how much you can afford and if you want to shell out the money for an original domestic over an international style. If you have all originals for the other Underworld films, then it would make sense to save up and get the original for the first film, because you may get the foreign version and end up not liking it or find that it bothers you not having an original domestic style to match your orders. Another problem you could run into is getting a counterfeit foreign poster. While some do have original foreign posters shipped to them through reputable avenues, there are a lot of knock-off foreign posters being sold too, I mean look at MG's website, they have a ton and all of those aren't real either. The internet is a big place and there are sites were anyone can pull those images from and print them out, and many believe that is what MG does.

If you have a collection of originals already, you should just put that Underworld on your wish list and save up for it but ultimately the final decision will be yours to make if you want to do that.

That poster would look so nice next to my Underworld Awakening Dom poster.
I might have to go international for the Underworlds because the domestic (mainly rise of the lycans) were not that impressive. I love most of the international posters but obtaining them is another issue. Plus I'm not sure of what quality I'm looking for. See I can pick out a proper domestic poster in seconds as in the real deal with paper stock and print quality. International I'm afraid of getting ripped off.

I did have that international style for Underworld Evolution in stock, they sold extremely well, and I tried to restock them but simply couldn't. Nice poster, fans went crazy for it and now its quite difficult to find.

Didn't see this mentioned anywhere yet, but IMAX has reported that they will be giving out the green Variant of the Star Trek: Into Darkness poster to the first 300 ticket purchases on this FRIDAY MAY 24th at ALL IMAX locations. So if you want this green one, that's when and where you'll get it

Here's a question:

What ever happened to British Quad posters?
I don't see them as much but the artwork was always great on them. I still want the Lion King one.

I LOVE British quads... AFAIK they still make them, I picked up the original Girl with a Dragon Tattoo for my dad not too long ago, it's stunning!

I'd love to make another backlit poster box for British Quads but I just don't have the wall space to commit to it... I've got the light fixture all ready for it, just no wall to use .

Why are 12x36 poster frames so expensive. Most I see are at least $50. I know most of you say that you get what you pay for but I really wish I could find one for closer to $20.

So I guess I'm just looking in the wrong place? Any good places I should check for British Quads?

What places are you looking at for that kinda price? I'm looking for a frame that size too I came close but yet still short. I'm gonna check out a store today to see if they have any in. Also I'm looking for some way better 27x40 frames (not Walmart) that dont have metal pieces to rub my posters. :/

I picked one up on ebay... I just searched ebay for "avengers uk quad" to see if anything would come up and I did get some hits. So I'd start there... a google search revealed this site http://www.moviepostersdirect.co.uk/

I can't vouch for any of this... just what a quick search turned up.

How about 25 + 10 shipping?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-inch-Thin-...-/320754326285

Depending on how valuable the poster is personally you could just replace the backing with good stuff or put acid free paper in there. Change to UV plexi if needed.

Almost won the JC Richard LOTR set for a killer price. For sniped at the end tho. Between my luck on Mondo and eBay I really suck at this game.

I need to get my hands on 5-10 12x36" frames. Noone here in Calgary sells them so I need to make a bulk order online somewhere. Don't need glass or backing materials as I will get all of that local.

Lots of pictures to go up if I can find the time tonight.

EDIT: Photos (They were taken on my iPhone 3GS. Sorry for the crap quality)

Quick frame I did of a World of Warcraft poster I picked up at Blizzcon '11

[Show spoiler]

A Bioshock piece I picked up at the Calgary Expo. $5 for the 8.5x11" print or there was a bigger version for $10. Frame cost me $8 bucks.
Artist of this one is Gillian Newland out of Toronto. http://gilliannewland.com/

And Canus Dirus
