first one looks best, maybe for the second artwork flip the image so that "driver" is on the left side of the case,

A quick google search and I found the same image here if this is what you mean
http://ones2watch4.com/content/wp-co...y/up/up_up.jpg Got my French Drive SB today and that has the same artwork I used for the UK one so I'm going to redo it. At the moment I'm messing about on photoshop with a simplistic white background but it's a big contrast to the outside of the case which is black/pink. Not sure if it would work. ![]() Last edited by Orton31291; 02-13-2012 at 06:33 PM. |

Wow, this is all a lot of information to take in. I'm about to attempt my first insert with the Drive steel, so I'm hopin' I won't mess things up when I disassemble it (I already creased the spine up on my X-Men:First Class fr steel last night using a club card *sigh*)

Then I received some help from another collector, and his suggestion works brilliantly. It helps a lot to soften the glue before attempting to remove the spine. Remove the front and back panels from your SteelBook, bring a pan of water to the boil, then reduce the temperature until its just simmering. Hold the spine on the plastic insert in the water for 5 minutes or so (keep it from touching the bottom), then you should be able to remove the spine easily with a thin card (I use a guitar pick, works really well). Use a gentle sawing motion, and the spine will come off crease free. The plastic insert wont melt. Good Luck! |
