When I called my BB this morning, they said they had 2 copies. I got there at 4:15pm and they had 4 on the shelf. I picked one up and then two other guys picked one up so they had 1 left when I checked out. I'm guessing they sold the last one tonight.

It must be, cause I checked about an hour ago and every single one of the stores near me were sold out, now every single one is in stock. I ordered one anyways, if it doesn't work then oh well.

I knew they Steels where going to sell fast! I went to my local best buy on Sunday to check the stock inventory and found out all the stores around me where low on these 15 max at one store and thats 4 stores! I knew I had a problem

I wanted to be at Future Shop at 10 to get the Hobbit Steel so I got up early and pre ordered 2 of the ZDT steels at my local store and picked them up at 11:00 and the rest at that store was out! I just checked and all the stores around me are out of copies!

Edit: I just checked again and they have them available again!

Clearly a glitch as I was just at Best Buy in Seattle two hours ago and they had none in stock. I wasn't there to get one, but noticed that they were sold out and now all stores are showing they have it. For those who don't realize that, if people order for in-store pick up and they go in tomorrow expecting to get one, chances are they will be out of luck and then in turn, that makes the store look bad for not having the product in stock, that then creates an unhappy customer. I have a feeling that will happen a lot come tomorrow....

Dude this is way better than what bestbuy used to ship their movies/games, cardboard gives better protection than the old plastic mailers with no bubble wrap.

They won't have to go because they will get a e-mail stating that the store didn't find it.

Based on my experience yesterday....not true. So I go to a place at opening, no copies. Immediately I do in-store pickup at another location. I get my email my order is ready for pickup. I go in after work. They can't find my order, but there's another copy sitting on the shelf for an order pick-up. They keep waving it in my face. After 30 minutes of everyone running around like a chicken with their cut off. All of them unsure how I got an email and where my copy is. Finally, someone says "there's a copy in transit on Shuttle, it'll be here Thursday. We're not sure who picked your order and submitted your order for pick up but it's not here." I was frustrated at this point and was wanting something a bit more concrete and the principal of the situation was pissing me off. I was assured on Thursday, when it arrives, the single SB for Zero Dark Thirty that's coming will be pulled immediately and placed for my order pick up. So it appears BB wants to f*ck with me yet again. I have next to no faith in relying on them to get this straight. They didn't even really want to work with me on the problem.

So if it's not in stock, a store, if they see it coming in during the week can pick your order for you and send an email saying it's ready when it's not.... I will be calling customer service today because last night I was too angry to vent on here or deal with it calmly over the phone. I told them flat out, "if it wasn't here, I would have be fine to get the email that said not available. This is rediculous there's a copy on the shelf you keep flashing before my eyes like your taunting me. Either give me that copy or a proper resolution or we will have a problem." Their attitude sucked straight through. After this.... I might as well just stick to freaking Amazon....
