Yikes! That is horrible. I'm glad I was reminded of the slots that are in the book for the collection set.

I pre-ordered the 2D version of this from Amazon.com hope it arrives without being crushed in their bubble mailers.

What's the reason for the circle shape tin? Seriously! Artistic? Why? What elements in the film were circular that would warrant this shape!? At least with Total Recall, the circle represented "Mars", which is a major theme of the film.
So, again, what's the reason for JW to use circular packaging? Do the Raptors invent the wheel?

The logos of Jurassic Park and Jurassic World are circular wth just the title jutting out. These tins just squeeze the Jurassic World title inside the circle.

Ya know, I thought of that, but didn't think that was really a reason. "The logo".
Man. That's definitely it. It's weak, but that's it.
Maybe every movie should pack the disc in a shape that closely resembles their logo.
The packaging for the blu-ray of "The Square" should have been in a tin square instead of an amaray case

These would have actually been kick ass tins if they had the titles jutting out like the actual logos. The final package looks like the cheap mint tins they sell at Universal Studios theme parks.

But its an embossed logo, isn't that what fans like? If it was completely flat it would be boring.

I love the Tin. But absolutely hate it as packaging for movies. Tempted to buy this version and just put the disks in my collections set with the empty slot. I couldn't imagine pulling the disks out of this all the time.

I find the tin to be okay. Found the Total Recall one for a $1.50 recently, and it isn't too bad.

It's alright, but I'm never really a fan of those kinds of packaging. Regular 2D for me

Looks like the discs might have disc art too or at least the Blu-ray!

Tin Lunchbox = Wal-Mart
The round tins are up for pre-order @ Wal-Mart too, but they're not listed as exclusive.

I actually like the tin. In fact, that might be the version I buy. It's unique and I never had a collectible package in that style in my collection anyway.
