Dude, come on, there've been loads of movies shot at >2K but were finished at 2K, that means nothing in itself. Guardians 2 was captured at 8K on the vistavision RED but still ended up at 2K!

It's only for a moment that I maybe didn't believe my own eyes and looked up the tech specs to make sure 4K was at least possible.

I received the Best Buy 4K Blu ray steelbook. I’ve got both a PS3 and PS4 and it will not play in either. PQ on this disc was outstanding, just like Transformers TLN, absolutely razor sharp image. Peak highlights weren't searing but WCG application was excellent. Just wish it was 1.85:1 like the other movies. DTS:X track was great but the Dino sounds still don't match those of the original JP.

Went to Best Buy and they exchanged it. Got home, fires up the blu day and the same damn thing. About 6 seconds of the Universal Studio logo with music and then black screen and no movie. And again on both the PS3 and PS4. I’m going to have to go back to Best Buy and had them play it in a player and tv in the store to see if it does it there and if the replacement I’ll get plays before I leave.

I watched this this morning before work. And I was Shocked at the beginning on how good it looked and sound. And I couldn't even turn it up, cause my son was stay sleepLol, it was early like 730am

PQ - was amazing HDR kicks Booty well, colors deep & rich
AQ - DTS:X Nice and LOUD. Bass hits hard. (But like I said the volume was
low & still sound sweet) When Friday come my day off, it will be LOUD.

I got it today. The day I was going to cancel it is the same day it was shipped (go figure). But there is a Target 1 mile from my house. I figured by the time I get there after work they would be sold out. But I may end up go and picking up Ant Man and The Wasp right after they open and save the shipping costs and headaches..

Did you try turning off BD-Live? It could be an issue with it trying to load up trailers from the internet and failing. Of course if you're trying the 4K disc, that won't work at all.

I don't have this movie yet, but I remember the rest of them loading up new trailers like that. Same with most or all of the Universal discs I have.

Have you tried other 4K discs in them to make sure it’s not a player issue?

Honestly, I didn’t know PS3 and PS4’s played 4K discs.

They don't. X-Box One is the only UHD-compatible gaming console.
