I guess little victories, but the DVD had such great inner artwork. It is a shame that catalog blurays are given such little attention compared to their DVD counterpart, but at least the old artwork is out there. It is what is inside that counts!

It's not on my copy.
The "Red Buttons" credit stays on screen about twice as long as the other "guest star" credits, which makes me think Stella Stevens' name was deliberately omitted. And since she plays a rather major part, that's strange. |

Picked up a copy today at a local Walmart. Watching the pilot, shortly after the 10 minute mark when Steve (Lyle Waggoner) is getting ready for his mission, a mechanic or something comes in and nods at him that they are ready. The extra playing that character looks a lot like Ron Starr from Peckinpah's 1962 film Ride the High Country. I just watched it last week, and was surprised to find he had almost nothing else in his imdb biography.

Weird thing about that Stella Stevens credit.
There really must be two pressings of that disc. Some people say they definitely have it and I have no reason to doubt them. I just watched mine three times, hoping I just missed something but, sadly, it is NOT on my disc ![]() Last edited by Dex Robinson; 08-03-2020 at 02:10 PM. |

Stella Stevens credit is on mine as well. Ordered mine through Bull Moose.
Also have to say I watched the first two episodes tonight and so far I'm very pleased with the release. Are there issues? Of course (the most jarring come from special effects used in the pilot). But they are few and far between. It didn't hinder me from enjoying revisiting this fun TV show. It's hands-down better than those crappy DVDs. |

My copy from Walmart has Stella Stevens listed right after "Starring Red Buttons" then "Special Appearance by Stella Stevens" then guest stars listed.
I am a bit too young to have seen this originally, though I remember when I was pre-Kindergarten being at my neighbor's house, where I often played when they got home from school, and seeing at least one episode. I wonder were re-runs of WW shown around 1980 in late afternoon? We usually watched re-runs of things like Get Smart, Gilligan's Island, and Brady Bunch - & then my mom would call across the yard to come home for dinner. Anyways, a couple years back MeTV stations were playing this series. I was confused by the WWII era set episodes, as I had never known that was how the show was originally set. Yesterday, after watching the first 2 episodes, I skipped ahead to the first episode of the 3rd season, which guest stars Lief Garret. Now this is the Wonder Woman I remember! Lynda Carter looking truly glamorous in trashy '70's settings! Watching WW makes realize now how much I need the blu-ray edition of Chalie's Angels. Everyone rest easy. Someone here will get a job at Warner Media and work their way up to a lead position at Warner Archive where they will lead a meticulous remastering of this series in 8K for its 50th anniversary release in 2025. That will be the definitive release.

I have two more episodes of Season One to watch tomorrow. Then, it's on to "THE NEW ADVENTURES OF WONDER WOMAN." This has been such a blast!

I watched the first episode of season 2 over the weekend with my girlfriend and we had a blast with it. We've seen a lot of season 1 lately on cable as, so I'm not really in the mood for more season 1 yet. Personally I enjoy seasons 2 and 3 more, too.
