I think I will wait for the solution announcement instead of emailing them now. They are probably busy with Black Friday shipping, and the faster they finish shipping the faster I get a replacement disc.

On a silly note: I grabbed it from my mailbox yesterday morning, and it's so nice I watched a couple unboxing videos.

Has anyone played the UHD? I don't have a 4K player yet. On both Blu-rays, the 5.1 track is lossy Dolby Digital instead of DTS-HD Master Audio. Can anyone confirm the audio tracks on the UHD disc?

There's a 5.1 track and an original stereo track.
Both are DTS-HD MA.

The UHD has DTS-HD for both the stereo and 5.1 track, and Dolby Digital for the commentaries.

Customers that received the faulty Blu-ray disc will be sent a replacement disc AUTOMATICALLY. Replacement discs will begin shipping out late December. There is no need to contact us.

We are putting additional steps in place with our disc replicator to hopefully prevent this issue from happening again in the future. Thank you all for understanding!

Decided to view the 3rd Disc to see the issue everyone is talking about... and the disc does not play at all. It’s not recognized by any of my players LOL... If they offer a replacement, I’ll take it, but I’m still happy as the other discs play and I’ll most likely only ever watch the 4K, but... it’d be nice to see the updated VFX that the director put all the effort, money and time in to... feel bad for that guy!


Edit: Looks like they already have a plan in place and have stated that replacement discs are being made... with no need to contact them, as they’ll be sending out replacement discs to everyone who ordered the set!

Vinegar Syndrome, you’ve just gained a new loyal customer, and I’ll be purchasing every new VSU title you make going forward! Well played.

Could someone please recommend a protective sleeve for the set? As it's a matte finish,don't want it to look 'scratchy' after a while
