Kinda bummed games aren't included too. Glad books are though.

Glanced over the site for some vinegar syndrome titles I want but can't find most of them. May just stick to books this go around.

speaking of books...does target do a good job packing books? nothing worse than buying marvel omnibuses and having them come in bent up.

I've ordered the Harley Quinn hardcover volumes and TMNT paperback volumes from them and all have came packaged well in a cardboard box.

I have some omnibuses I'm eyeing.

Checked my account today and found this
Earn a $15 reward
Make 2 qualifying purchases of $75 or more to earn a $15 reward in Target Circle earnings
19 days left for this Circle offer

Perfect, nothing like stacking Target RedCard, Circle, B2G1 deals.
I am so ready for 10/10

For those of you putting your shopping lists together now, remember:
You can have only 50 items saved,
but have unlimited items in the Wishlist/Favorites

Here’s some info about what’s new this year:

Industry-Leading Holiday Price Match Guarantee Offered All Season Long

To sweeten the deal even more, Target’s new, industry-leading Holiday Price Match Guarantee will kick off earlier than ever, starting with Target Deal Days on Oct. 10 and running through Dec. 24, giving guests confidence they can buy now and don’t need to wait until later in the season to get the retailer’s best deals. New this year, guests can request a price adjustment on all* items purchased at Target Oct. 10 through Dec. 24 if the retailer lowers the price later in the season, taking the stress and guesswork out of deal hunting. Additionally, as part of its existing policy, Target will continue to match select competitors’ pricing within 14 days of purchase.

Jon Snow here knows nothing. The info from bigkid43 was the first I’ve read about the B2G1 officially coming. It’s literally not in the October planner for employees. I’ve double checked and triple checked and nada.

Hopefully they’ll include preorders.

Oh, it's happening. Big time. Thanks for all of your help. The sale thread has been created here now too, so you can take it easy. Here you go.

I like to order my books from Target (if i can't find 'em in-store) precisely because they always arrive in mint condition, hard cover or softbound. I've always liked Target for this reason. I find that Amazon is hit-and-miss, more hit than miss, and sometimes the books from Amazon arrive mangled or dog-eared. (Your mileage may vary, of course).

So I was at Target today. Killing some time before I went to the movies..

And to my shock. They shank the movie section even more! Just when i thought they couldn't. They don't even have a full half aisle. It's a half aisle on one side and a half aisle on the other side. With so small endcaps. Plus the 4 sided thing with the new releases in the back. And then the new releases up front.

And what did they replace that section of movies with?

BOOKS!!!!!!

At this point just call them book stop. Are people really buying books that much? Or is it cheaper to stock books than movies?

At this point everything will be bought online everywhere. Stores make it hard to support them in stores. But i doubt they care.

My Target did the same thing. Even with all of the b!tching about Amazon, it's still the most convenient way to get movies and other things as a Prime member and you also get all of that streaming content.

I always look at Target first because as a Red Card holder I get 5% off and free shipping on most items.

Best Buy is off my list for shipping and I will buy from them if they are cheaper and the item is available for pickup which it was for Black Widow Steelbook as I didin't care about the price I just wanted to make sure I got it to keep my MCU steelbook collection complete.

I recently bought Night Shift from Amazon at the high price because I didn't want to wait and maybe because I'm Prime I received it on Wednesday, one day after release. I've been reading posts about delays in delivering some movies from Amazon but for the most part I've been getting what I've ordered fairly quickly. For all of the items out of stock I did receive them in the time that was listed.

Walmart used to be good for store pickup but so many of their items are no longer available for pickup.

Import CD and Deep Discount can be good for some titles but their shipping increases the price close to Amazon. On the big music box sets like Let It Be Import CD wins over Amazon even with the shipping costs. Most of the Super Deluxe CD packages are priced better at Import CD but they go backordered very quickly and then it takes a long time to come back into stock.

Right now Amazon wins for me even if sometimes I have to pay a few dollars more.

and remember all the Chicken Little sky is falling posts about the demise of physical? well you're seeing how the big box stores think of it inside their brick and mortar locations. Everything still available online but if the smaller titles start to go out of print at a faster rate that will be another sign of demise as they aren't repressing those titles.

Why does every thread in this sub devolve into in-store stock issues? Enough.
