The rumors are true, they just announced on fb that the live action movie will come in May 2022 on D+, so the wide release date of the bluray came just on time with the announcement. Hope that others Dtv series will show up but if no reboot is programmed at the same time, that might not happen

That's just Disney running out of original ideas and rebooting their back catalog again

I ordered the Blu-Ray at the last minute after it was discounted by $10. Now I have to wait longer but it should be worth it. Hopefully this means the Blu-Ray is selling well and not that Disney didn't make enough.
And as a fan of all things Disney Afternoon that movie looks awful. The voices are wrong, the combination of 2D and 3D animation looks bad. The movie being self aware of animation issues and that it's a reboot isn't funny. Sorry to anyone that's interested, just my 2 cents. I guess we'll never get a remake movie that feels like the original property. Treasure of the Lost Lamp was great but that came out soon after the DuckTales cartoon aired. At least we can go back and watch the cartoons and play the NES games. ![]() |

Yes, you already told us. It should also be pointed out that your test screening may not have been the final film either. Test screenings can offer an opportunity for feedback, and films have been altered due to them.

Looks like Who framed Roger Rabbit? all over again, in terms of crossovers.

It’s generally a big mistake when they take a cartoon franchise and try to throw live action humans into it. Most of these shows were about the animals essentially living their lives in their own little worlds without the human nonsense. A CGI version of C & D, sure that could be cool. With humans? Not cool

No amount of editing based on audience reactions is going to save this. But hey maybe you’ll like it as is. If you like beloved characters being crapped all over. Or maybe e if you have no emotional connection from the past 70 years of chip or Dale or past 30 year of the rest of the rescue rangers.
