Incredible movie. Every genre was merged into one coherent piece.

The "Magic What We Do (Surreal Montage)" sequence has to be one of the best sequences filmed to date.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I thought this was really boring to watch.... I liked the first half. Thought it was setting itself up for something great.... But it was bleh... Not really suspenseful or interesting.... The characters didn't seem shocked or scared by what was going on.... I'm utterly shocked by the praise this got.... I'd seriously give it a 1 or 2.... I was not entertained at all....

Since I'm way behind on posting here, this was amazing and will definitely in my top 10 of the year.

Finally watched this last night, such a great movie. The build up, acting, the music, the ending, everything was well done. Looking forward to another viewing soon.

I just couldn't get into this film. After all the hype and praise I expected to be blown away. Instead I got a gimmicky movie that wants to elevate itself pass it's B-movie level of story and plot and character yet still stay there in "fun". Characters were one note and bland, Michael B Jordan should try his hand at dramatic acting cause this ain't his wheelhouse.

Just wasn't on board. Would like to rewatch in a year and maybe I'll be more into it then.

I think this happens to all of us but this is a good example of why it's best to see films with as little input from others as possible. Trailers already spoil enough.

A lot of this movie is excellent; the performances are terrific, as is Ryan Coogler's script. But then, it felt like he suffered from writer's block about halfway through, and said "I know what I'll add!" There are some great moments in the second half (I loved the final scenes before the credits), but ultimately it fell flat for me. This is the very definition of an "almost" movie.
