I think if you like late-80s to 90s trash better than 70s to early-80s trash, you might like VS better than CR, though there is some overlap of these time periods from both labels.

VS wins on the overall presentation of their discs, though.

I won't be watching, as I'm already over an hour late getting to bed, which is where I'm going now, however, David posted that they will be unveiling the Dead Pit cover on a live feed later tonight. I'll catch it lunchtime tomorrow. For any who will be awake, here is the post. I just saw it but I think it was from a few hours ago....

VS easily wins presentation... I also feel like they have a more "arthouse" bent rather than straight exploitation which lines up towards my personal preferences...

That is indeed a proof of the slipcover, just hasn’t been wrapped around a case yet. I like the gloss to it. Blinking eyes would have been cool though

Hmm, o-card hacking...do it yourself blinky eyes. Could take one of those eco-cases, that we all throw away, to hold the guts (battery, ic, leds). Now I need to find a Hallmark card that has the guts for this project.

So when is Demon Dave going to have these up for sale? [rhetorical question]

If he didn't build things up so much....If it reaches a good price I might pick it up but doubt I'll grab it initially

If you saw how it glows in the dark sure you would agree it blows doors on the old blinking eyes box. The sculpted 3D on the zombie came out quite spectacular as well. Very stunning in person.

You don't want to mutilate this thing of beauty AK. This is a real looker and it's still not quite the finished product. They are assembling it now and we should have it for sale finally by next week for sure. It has to be the best looking O-card out there.

Gotta give you credit, at least you’re using the original artwork, I generally despise when new artwork is used on slips that look nothing like original advertising or posters. There’s plenty of releases from Scream Factory I would have been tempted to purchased if not for those lousy generic floating head slipcovers that don’t represent the movie at all.

If you ever get the rights to Iced make sure it’s this cover

Dark Force posted a picture of the slip head on on Instagram and it looks warped. The spine from both sides is on the front edges of the cover and it looks very cheaply made. Hopefully looks better in person.

There's something off about that head. It looks like one of those bad superimposed photoshop jobs. And is it made of paper? That's what it looks like.

Looks thin and cheap. The 3D texture is nice, but nothing special. It's really just another standard slipcover.

In the Facebook video it looks to have a nice iridescent aheen to it.
