Just fyi guys, blu-steels in Germany who does the SteelSheel like in the video in Post#559, will shortly have a similar sleeve for the jumbo steelbooks if anyone is interested. Also they have 5% off for new customers.

Hi Everybody,

I was going to start keeping my books in sleeves, wondering if anyone has any tips before I begin which ones are the best. I was thinking if the price is good as well as the quality I would order 500+ to keep it consistent and prevent possibly getting different sleeves possibly with a different tint or look in the future?

Also I wanted to start keeping my Slipcovers like comic books, I have seen some people put there Slips in plastic sleeves, are they the steelbook sleeves fit nice and snug?

Thanks

I got a shop locally down here called "The Bag Man" they specialize in ziplock and other plastic bags. I noticed a few pages back someone mentioned lower quality sleeves causing corrosion to slipcovers/steelbooks? does anyone know is there a way to tell or know? I don't want to buy Sleeves & 5 years later my entire collection is starting to rust? the thought makes me laugh and cry real hard at the same time.. lol .

To save me from wading through pages or responses, could you post the link to his website? Thanks

I put everything that's not a bare Amaray in meritline bags. Kind of annoying to take out with the adhesive, but they're pretty easy and keep everything from bumping together.

Ordered! I like the way these look, especially since the spines are in full view. I bought some of the plastic sleeves/pouches, but these blu-steel sleeves will house my favorites.

They look great on the shelf, go together super easy, only SLIGHT complaint is that they fit relatively snug and take a bit of encouraging to get out (won't damage them, just snug ). Teh guy who sells them is a pro star...great customer service

Yeah he's really good. Was a bit of a mix up with one of my orders and a couple were missing from the packet and he sent out another full packet the next day. Can't beat that.
