Free Agents Clarification : Free Agents are allowed to be signed anytime during the NFL Season/Playoffs. The only time it is absolutely forbidden is during the Off-Season. If I see anyone sign a player during the Off-Season, consequences will be made. Clarification on Off-Season F.A.'s have yet to be created but, as of right now, it's not allowed. If there is an F.A. over 78+ then you must message me about it and we'll figure out things from there. Do. Not. Sign. Them. Until. I. Say. You. Can. (I decided to allow free signings mainly because it's a fantasy league and they mostly are used to fill positions. The reason it was made into a big deal earlier was because, at that time, the rule was that there was absolute no F.A. signings and yet people still managed to snatch up some players.)

It's a position, not a "third string" kind of thing. Every NFL team lines up different guys in the slot throughout the game.

Also, Wide Receiver is the only position that must have the only position play. For example, Tight Ends, Halfbacks, etc. can't play at the Wide Receiver position UNLESS they're OVR goes up in it. I think that's it..

So I can't use Vernon Davis as a wideout or marion barber as a slot guy because their overall position does not go up when they are sent to the WR position?

I don't think so, but if you have too many WRs for example, you could just drop 1 or 2 of them so that Vernon Davis becomes your 4th receiver naturally on your depth chart.

In another franchise, Kevin Faulk (RB) is naturally ahead of Julian Edelman on my WR depth chart so he is my slot receiver.

u r allowed to do that! U can alter your plays. I may run a 4 WR set but place my two TE's in the slots using the Jumbo formation. Its all allowed. I have slaton, and he will be playing some WR for me. As long as u don't sub players like Deangelo hall or terrance newman as WR u are safe.

I do understand that, unless someone is using the wildcat. But a WR should never be a TE or a RB. (unless u are doing a end around of somesort)

But a TE or RB should be allowed to line up as a WR.

yeah, to be honest, this may be a deal breaker for me. if i have to just play my WR's 1-6 or whatever, and cant move them around and cant play a HB or a TE as a receiver...well that's just wierd to me. is that what it is?

Wr have to Play Wr positions

If the formation your in has the TE in the slot naturally, then that's fine. You can't place slaton/reggie bush/MJD ETC ETC in a WR position Mainly Slot.

You can switch your wr to a slot position, as long as their WR. You cannot Sustitute a TE for a WR Position(Unless) - thei OVR gains a boost from placing in a WR position

So if their natural position is TE and their OVR is a 95
and in a WR Position thei roverall Is a 94, you cannot place them in a WR position.

Those are the rules

Again I know there are Formations that have the RB as WR, I think Saints O has such a formation again those are set plays which are allowed.

But running a Regular Singleback - Trips, and substituing Reggie Bush/etc in the inner most position isnt really sim.

Again The Real NFL in a Singleback Trips the RB may Motion to the wr positoning, that is Sim

You rarely see RB set up a WR/Slot and since this is a game can be used to attack AI flaws
